The Lake

Arielle took note of Darcy's British accent. "So... What are you thinking about?" she asked, realizing Darcy had been thinking about something. She leaned back, the sand damp under her skin. The day was growing slightly hotter, she noticed.

"the usual. Bloody old woe is me demigod crap"

"Camp Half-Blood sucks. Sure, it's safe and all that, but some of the kids are so irritating. Like most of the Ares kids." Arielle scowled momentarily. "Plus, some people call me a witch because I'm a Hecate kid and my eyes change." She took a breath. "Wow, I talk a lot."

OOC: sorry had to have dinner and a shower
BIC: I heard two girls talking. I walked over. "Hi" I said.

Darcy nodded at the small girl, "Hullo," she turned back to Arielle, "And apearently, I can't fight."

Arielle rolled her eyes. "I hate when people judge others by their godly parents." She drew her knees to her chest. "Hi, I'm Arielle, daughter of Hecate," she told the other girl.

"Alex" I replied with a nod "i don't really know a lot about parent stero typing, I haven't even been claimed yet"
OOC: misswho do you want to send Louise or her sister there as I've given a time phrase for the running enough time to fit the convo :)

"Is Alex short for anything?" Arielle asked. If it was blunt, she didn't care. "Anyway, what do you like to do?" She rearranged herself. She wasn't surprised Alex was unclaimed -- she looked around 9 or 10.

Darcy looked between the two.

Arielle nodded. She slid her aching feet out of her shoes -- she had been in New York all day and had returned just now. Downtown seemed to be a long distance from Long Island.

Darcy closed her eyes, she hasn't been getting as much sleep lately.

"So... Darcy," Arielle said. You seem tired, she thought, but didn't say it.

She opened onw eye, "What?"

Demetri wandered down to the lake with her bow loaded, extra arrows slung over her back. The day was nice and she hoped to snag a few of the fat Stygian birds that may be creeping around camp. Deme sat down to rest a bit, sipping from her bottle of water.

Darcy watched the new girl come in and waved slightly. She stretched out her legs and left.
