Re: Cabin's Courtyard
I smiled evilly. "In your cabin, where there's spiders...crawling..." I grossed out seeing spiders ran out of Apollo cabin. I bet Lou Ellen drove them out.

Florence Welch wrote:Master George wrote:Florence Welch wrote:Anita took less than a minute to notice that she was being watched. She looked back at the boy with a typical Mona Lisa smile.
I smirk. I wave slightly at her. I look around at the cabins, noticing the different qualities that distinguished them apart. I shake my head at the Aprodite cabin "so much perfume I can smell it from here." I mumble (Jackson)
Anita heard his mumble and she was absolutely sure that he was talking about her, but she preferred to ignore it. She wasn't in a very good mood, and she was afraid to reply in a rude way and scare that unknown. Perfume is a bad thing only if you're allergic to it, She thought.
I stand up and walk over to the girl "Hi." I say quietly. (Jackson)

Jordan wrote:lillylillypad wrote:I felt my stomach drop out from under me. "I... wasn't even expecting to be right!" I admit. "Is it hard, hearing them all the time? Do they ever..." I trail off. How do you respond to finding out someone hears and sees ghosts?
I ran a hand through my hair as I sighed, "Oh boy, you don't even know the half of it." I told her and shut my eyes for a few moments. "They never stop talking. Some want help, some want revenge, some want to know how they died. I can't ever sleep anymore. Most of the time my head is like a noisy cafeteria, so much noise... all the time. I've prayed to my dad, Mania, Hades... Nothing. The voices never stop. If I focus, I can keep some of the weaker spirits away, but that makes me tired..." I explained. "Now that you know I guess I could explain more. I've only ever told one other person... But I have three ghosts that follow me everywhere. Most ghosts don't follow me if I move, but three are... connected to me. There's Periander. A tyrant of Ancient Greece, who killed people who tried to steal power from him. He's the one who gives me the most trouble. I was talking to him earlier... He was wanting to find a spider to terrify you. So I told him that, that would be mean." I brushed a lock of hair out of my face, it felt good to get this off my chest. "He's constantly trying to push me to do wicked things... Then there's Alexander III, but most know him as Alexander the Great. He just gives me pointers and tips during battle, and wants me to to fight for justice and blah, blah, blah. And I am eternally punished by Homer... the great poet who wrote the Odyssey and the Iliad. He just wants me to be non-violent, and wants me to search for spiritual peace. Bull Crap like that." I explained and sighed, I was telling someone my secret...
"Bull-Crap!?" Homer protested.
Alexander laughed, "Dora, if I were alive I would kiss you."
Periander scowled, "You couldn't have said anything scarier about me?"
I stare at her through her long monologue. "Wow," I say quietly. "That's..... I'm not sure wether the proper word here is incredible or horrifying. Maybe it's a little of both. But, there's really no way to sleep? Don't they have, I don't know, sleeping meds in the infirmry?" I pause, mind buzzing.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
I shrugged, "When I lived in the mortal world, they diagnosed me with Schizophrenia. My mother couldn't function right after my brother died, so I was put in an asylum... they constantly gave me sedatives and things so I could be calm, but that is the only place where I was able to sleep... They gave me so many drugs I was numb. I left with a half-blood who came to the asylum, after I met him, it was pretty apparent that I was a demi-god, so the spirits began to flock towards me shortly after. Before that, I had no idea I was able to talk to ghosts... ignorance is bliss I guess." I sighed and looked up through the tree branches at the sunlight that was streaming through the gaps. "But to make a long answer short, I've tried, it doesn't work. Alexander can usually keep spirits away, but he doesn't stop all of them."

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
Beth walked out slowly from the Other Gods cabin. She scanned the Courtyard and saw many people just talking and hanging out. Seems a lot like school.. she thought in her mind and smiled a little at the thought. Maybe camp wouldn't be so bad..she didn't really struggle with making friends at school. Beth decided to sit down on a bench by the fountain, then took out a book from her bag and started to read.

Warren thought for a moment. "I like Sausage and scrambled egg sandwiches. With ketchup, and cheese, and pepper, and..." He trailed off. "That's definitely my favorite.

I winced. "Thats... horrible. But there HAS to be a was to stop it, somehow, right? I mean, someone, somewhere must have the same problem? It's possible. So there has to be a way to do something, right?"

I shrugged, "I've thought about talking to some of my siblings... or maybe a child of Hades. I've heard that some of them can command spirits. Maybe they can make them leave." I wondered.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
"Well, someone has to know SOMETHING about it, right? The gods have been having demigod children for ages... so you can't possibly be the first demigod to hear and see spirits." Maybe I can help solve someone else's problems. I would freely admit to not doing so well on my own problems.

Re: Cabin's Courtyard
I pursed my lips as I thought, "That sounds like a possibility." I said, "but where would we begin?" I asked.
"The Library!" Homer exclaimed.
"The Underworld." Periander sighed.
"Hades' Cabin." Alexander stated as if it were obvious.

I frown, thinking hard. "The Hades cabin, perhaps?" I ask. "They're the most likely source of information on the dead."

"Okay... but I've never met one..." I told her nervously. Was I about to tell more people my secret? I didn't want everyone in Camp thinking I was crazy.
