The Sandy Beach

I suddenly felt terrible again. Might as well express it. "Y'know, I'm sorry. Okay, but I had my reasons. One, I'd probably hurt you more if I'd stayed. Two, I- I- " I sighed, I was never good at apologizing. I never felt like I was good with anything now a days. "I'm sorry, and I'm okay if you hate me." I turned around and started to walk off.

I blinked sadly. "I don't hate you, I just... I'm sad you left. Both of you just left when I needed you most! I almost died during your plan and you guys just up and left," I cried.

I turned again. Great, I made him cry. Not my plan at all. I walked up again to the boy. "It's just, I can't stand to see anybody else hurt anymore. I've lost a massive amount in the past year. I didn't mean to make you feel bad, though that's a bit contradictory. I am so sorry that I didn't stay. It wasn't right." I found myself starting to tear up as well. "I barely know you and I put your life in danger, I'm a terrible person."

Heather shook her head and dove into the water.

I felt even worse now. I hadn't been sure why I didn't return, but I couldn't seem to face him as soon as I left. But my glumness was soon replaced by anger. I was trying my best now to make up what I did, or I guess didn't do, and I felt offended by this boy. I placed my hands on my face then quickly removed them. "I- I couldn't face you because I didn't return in the first place!" I loudly argued. "Why didn't I return?" I whispered mostly to myself. "I admit that I had just left you there, and I also know that I lead you to a mission that most likely would injure us, but, I also know people deserve second chances. You may not want to give me one now, but I beg for a second chance at one point." I was truly sincere in my apology, but I was also angry.

BIC: Heather floated too.

"Fine the- wait what?" Did I just hear him say "I'm sorry"? For some reason I felt worse. "Apology accepted, I guess. But, I shouldn't have left you. I may not know your name, but that doesn't excuse me from being a total jerk." I paused a moment and let myself relax a bit. "Rylie," I said. I held my hand out to the boy.

"Yeah. I like horseriding better, but I swim when I'm bored of it." Heather smiled and relaxed.

Heather raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything.

"Annabeth... Chase?" Heather paused for a moment before continuing, "She's on the Great Prophecy quest."

Will walked onto the beach in his "mood" and sat down.

Acacia liked being able to see, it made going everywhere better. She walked to the shoreline ans smiled.

Drew wandered out to the beach and spread a towel next to a surly looking boy and sat down on it. Pulling out some suntan lotion, she began to apply it.

Will looked at the girl who sat next to him. He turned his attention to his phone.

Drew noticed the guy ignored her and was miffed. She peeled off her tshirt and shorts to reveal a lavender bikini underneath. She folded her clothes neatly and put them back in her bag, and lay down on the towel, stretching herself out.

Will looked at his phone,then shut it off. He studied the girl "Probably an Aphrodite" he thought to himself. "Hey" he said to the girl.

Drew lifted her head and smiled slightly sitting up, "Hey there. Im Drew, whats your name?", she asked.
