casus walked in, looking around at the people here. she felt a little worried, and sat down out of the way, trying to figure out what was going on here.

I closed my eyes and focused my power into a heavy chop, snapping the dummies neck, leaving it's head hanging side way holding on from hay and wood.

Achilles strolled into the Arenas to test is aim with his spear. He was a prodigy with a bow, throwing the spear, he would almost never miss, but jabbing and thrusting with his spear... it could definitely use some improvement.
Achilles brushed his golden hair to the side with a swipe of his hand and noticed a few people... they shouldn't get in the way. The son of Apollo held his spear out in front of him and lunged at a dummy, the spear point easily piercing the "flesh" of the straw dummy. But his strike was off center... "Damn it". He mumbled and tried again, it had to be perfect!

I heard foot steps and turned to see a boy, he had blond hair and a spar, could be a Hermes child but looks can be deceiving"hello" I called to him, maybe he would want to spar.

Achilles turned quickly his green eyes wild. "Oh." He mumbled absently, and straightened, holding his spear at his side, "Hello." Achilles turned slightly to check out his last strike and grimaced. Achilles pushed is annoyance away and shuffled forward, no need to talk to someone from across the room. "What'd you want?" Achilles asked, raising an eyebrow.

"well, would you like to spar?" I asked confidently, my training put me in a fighting mood, I sheathed Avenger, looking at the dummy who got his neck cracked open with my chop, ouch.

Achilles tapped his chin, "I suppose I could use some more practice with my spear..." Achilles said, pondering the possible out comes. "Just a warning." He began, "you shouldn't push me to hard, it would be bad for everyone." Achilles said quietly, flipping his spear quickly.

I strolled into the arena, whistling merrily to myself as Mars scurried into the arena behind me. Time to beat up Eric -- happy day, happy day. I looked around and saw him facing another boy with his sword out -- the one he'd used to kill the Kraken, probably. I rolled my eyes and sat down on a bench at the sidelines; well, it'd be fun to see if this kid could beat Eric up. He deserved it.

Achilles huffed, he preferred to wait for the strike and counter, but... He did need more practice.
Achilles sighed and relaxed, he needed to remember not to push so hard, it could be dangerous. He looked up at his opponent quickly and lunged. His strong legs pushed him forward quickly as he turned his upper body and swiped his spear to the side, attempting to knock the boy off his feet.

I had seen this attack many times, pretty good if unexpected and he could have improved it with a faint fake out and a back up melee attack just in case.I blocked the attack and quickly drove Avenger into the ground then slung my self into a 360 kick at his torso, holding onto Avenger's hilt.

Casus watched carefully, knowing she could pick up some really good offensive techniques off this guy, and that was what she needed to learn the most.

Achilles drove the butt of his spear into the ground and used it as a makeshift pole vault, to leap above the attack. Achilles landed quickly, successfully avoiding the kick, and flipped his spear and lunged, the sharpened point sent racing at the boy's chest.

Eric had quickly maneuvered into a 180 twist so the spear flew past him and he then sent a heavy boot at the boys chest, trying to kick him back.

Achilles turned away and brought his leg up, to keep the air from being knocked out of him. The kick hit his thigh and sent him falling backwards. Achilles recovered quickly but limped lightly from the force of the kick. The son of Apollo growled and lunged swinging his spear at the boy's head.

bic: Eric smirked and side stepped, letting the spear cut his left fore arm, then he picked Avenger up and sent 3 quick slashes at him in a quick draw motion.

ooc: i got the honor of being in the same topic, though casus is not doing anything just yet.

Bic: casus watched carefully, trying to figure out why the boy had allowed the cut. what good does that do? does it allow you a chance to take a shot at the enemy?

Achilles ducked elegantly dodging all three strikes quickly... or so he thought. Achilles raced forward, his strong shoulders tensed as he sent three quick jabs at the boy with his spear. It was then he noticed the trail of blood working its way down his arm.
