Hiding in a cave and remembering bad habbits

I said nothing. Nothing had changed, I was still a monster. I had made someone kill themselves, I had driven them crazy. Never again. Never. I realised that my hands were shaking. I didn't need someone to show me my worst fear I knew what it was already there was only one thing that scared me truly... Myself.

"I am" I replied maybe a bit sharply. I pulled my hands away from her and took some deep breaths to try to calm down "I'm fine" I said trying to look OK

I put my gloves back on "yea" I said "it was a bit pointless anyway" I paused "I think I might go and get something from the refectory, want to come with me?"

"Sure" I replied picking up one of the bottles "you want to keep all this or destroy so that no one else finds out?"

"You already have one cabin leader who knows about all this" I guestured to the alcohol and drugs "they'll take it away anyway if they find it"

I shrugged and picked up a second bottle placing it and the original in the bag. I picked up some of the drugs and put them inside "So are you coming now?" I asked her.

I walked out of the cave heading to the mess hall.
