Alex sat against a big rock near the lake. This was her first time being near water for a long time. She liked it, but it just didn't feel right. Sure, she thought about her thinking by the pool once, but it never felt right before. But, now, she had no where to go, no one to talk to.

Akex ducked as Sam cannonballed into the lake. Alex shook her head and sighed. "Watch out!" Alex mimicked Sam and cannonballed in. She got up out of the water and breathed in the sweet air as she tried to part her wet hair out of her face.

Alex started to laugh as she got splashed. She held up her arms for defense, but it wasn't working out so well. So, Alex started to splash back at Sam. "You are so getting it." Alex started to laugh again.

Alex tried to dodge the water but it caught her like a rain storm. She laughed as hard as she could because she was having fun. "Ok, you know you are not fair. You are bigger and stronger than me. I can't splash that high even on my best day." Alex pouted, but not for long as she splashed Sam in the face. "But, I can still splash."
