I nodded as Lakisha leave the cabin. Something about the dance? She sighed she still didn't have anyone to go with. When Lakisha left Ian asked if I liked her. Of course I did. "Yes, I like Lakisha. I don't find her arrogant that much." I told him.
"Why do you ask?" I say wondering if he liked Lakisha. My pale skin glimmered in the sun from the door opening. I squinted and looked away. I looked up to Ian he was about one foot taller than me. I was muscular and I could tell, he didn't have trouble with the ladies. I mean who wouldn't want him?

Wow. People sure got cold easy. But I didn't say that. "um.. Sure" I said walking out. I as greeting but the burning hot sun. I squinted and mumbled "stupid sun.." I waited at the door for Ian to come. Man, was he handsome. Was he a child of Aphrodite? Now that question burned in my brain. But would be rude to ask?
I sighed. Deciding not to ask just yet.

I smiled. "No don't like the sun one bit." "Runs in the family." I laugh and start walking. "Where shall we go to find some shade?" I asked walking along the trail towards the courtyard. I looked back at our cabin. It was a typical cabin, but there was snow on the roof, and it looked misplaced from the rest. Because of the hot weather it just looked weird.

"That suites my fine." I said walking towards the lake with a spot covered my trees. It looked fairly refreshing right by the lake.

BIC: Ian led her to the fresh shadows near the Lake and leaned against a tree; he apparently wasn't afraid of making his expensive trousers and shirt dirty. He smiled again at Darcy.

"Is this better, my dear?" he asked.

I walked with him and watched him sit down. "Man, it's hot." I took of my Yankees sweater and sat down beside him. He asked me if it was better. "I guess." I smiled

A smiled spread across my face. This guy, and just asked me to the dance. this guy... At least it seemed like it.
"Yes I do think that I am going." I smiled.

I smiled as he asked me.

"I would be glad to be escorted to the wonderful dance."

I had already planned of what I wanted to be even if I had, no one to go with. I was going to go as a zombie.

In a flash of light, because walking had become much too tiresome for Santa Hermes and his bag of wonders, the messenger god appeared inside the Chione cabin, scratching his head. Was it just him, or was it... really cold in here?

And then he remembered: Chione was an ice and snow goddess. The few times he'd met her, he thought her heart might have been a bit colder than her, ah, living quarters. The pun was slightly intended.

But on to business. Hermes scanned the list until he found the girl he was delivering this gift to: Lakisha Bellamy, daughter of Khione. Pair of boots. Well, it was practical, Hermes could give her that. He reached deep into his bag, barely missing cutting himself on a stray sword again, and pulled out the pair, which had the laces knotted together to prevent the loss of one boot. Laying down the pair next to the girl's bunk, Santa Hermes disappeared in a flash of light.
