I feel a bit better, but I can't walk. Then eagle sense turns on again, making me open the wound further. I feel myself rapidly losing blood. I'm dead, I thought, I'm dead.

I try harder, using all my strength. I've never had to use them this instensly before. I shut my eyes hard, biting my lip. My fingers start to bleed a bit and tears start pouring out of my eyes.

I feel the wound closing up, and I feel like I will live. Eagle sense tries to activate again, but I've gained control and as I deactivate it I yell, "GET OUUUUUUUUUT! OUT OF MY LIFE!" Suddenly, the wound has closed up, and I can stand again, albeit limping.

I heal until the lights in my hands flicker out. I groan a bit and then collapse.

I can now control what eagle sense shows me, so I pick up Sparky and run all the way to Drew and Harley. When I get there I say, "Sparky needs rest!"

I lay on the floor, half in this world. He left me to die, I was sure of it. I was left alone. All I needed was someone, and he left me with no one.

I look at Sparky, "Kevin, she's fine. It may sound insensative, but that happends when she works to hard. When she wakes up, she'll be fine. Just leave her in the car."

I say, "Sparky, I'll tell you one last memory about my assassin recruits when you're ready to hear it. For now, I will tell Drew and Harley." I put her in the car and say, "Rest now." Then I turn my attention to Drew, saying, "You know about what happened to my assassin recruits, right? Do you Harley?"

There was one that seemed different, like he was a demigod too. I'm unsure what happened to him. His name was Mikhail." Then I looked closely at Harley and said, "Wait a second. You look familiar. Harley, were you ever an assassin? Ever?"

Harley nodded once, only once and showed him a tattoo on we left shoulder very quickly so no one else would see. It was true Harley was an assassin, or was one. It was how she was so violent and insane, when everything had gone wrong in her life

Harley slid off her glove. She still had all of her fingers but there was a scar across her palm as if a knife had been sliced over it. She wasn't as devoted as him, and had dropped out. She still had all her fingers though

Harley didnt say anything, she never had courage for anything. She was alone most of the time with little self esteem to keep her going

I realize what she is thinking through a very short eagle vision glimpse and say, "I didn't mean it that way. I just meant that I understand why you didn't cut it off. That knife scratch, was that a failed attempt?"
