Re: The Lakefront
"He's usually pretty goofy... Unless, of course, he is challenged by a worthy opponent, like yourself." Pyra smiled as she said it. "Or me." she added.

Re: The Lakefront
"Worthy? I wouldn't hardly call myself that. All I can really do is bug 'im like crazy." Lance said with a small chuckle and a shrug. "You, however, would be much more qualified to that title." He added, shrugging again.

"Anyone who can laugh at the kid almost skewering them is worthy enough, at least to my definition."

Re: The Lakefront
"Eh, I guess we have two different definitions of worthy then." Lance said. "But... Who couldn't laugh at that? He tripped into the lake. It's funny!"

Re: The Lakefront
"Some would think that to laugh at the son of Victoria would be to insult him, making him angry. You on the other hand, were not afraid to let your joy out. Or maybe you just found shelter in the idea that I was here." Did that make sense? Pyra wasn't sure.

Re: The Lakefront
"Of course I wasn't. I would love to make 'im angry. Son of Discordia and all... Can't exactly control it." Lance chuckled once more, pursing his curled lips as he crossed his arms. "And I suppose ya' bein' here might've given me some reassurance that he wouldn't decapitate me."

Re: The Lakefront
"What would make him really mad would be someone beating him in swordplay." Pyra said, trying to make a point.

Re: The Lakefront
"Yeah... But I know that that person couldn't be me. I tried earlier... before ya' got here... But it didn't really work out for me." Lance said with a slight chuckle at the thought.

"But your still standing, and with all your gut's too. Pretty good if you ask me." Pyra smiled.

Re: The Lakefront
"Oh, I'm pretty sure that has nothin' to do with how I fair with a sword... I basically just told 'im that he won and then proceeded to beg for mercy. Apparently it worked." Lance said, laughing slightly.

Re: The Lakefront
"Yeah, I figured as much. Probably won't be spared next time. But, that's future Lance's problem." Lance joked, laughing.

"Aye, that he does. Poor fellow. I suppose that future Lance is seriously screwed." Lance said, nodding with a faux grim look, that was soon a smirk.

Re: The Lakefront
Alright... now what? Pyra growled as Collin accidentally threw the water at her. She drew her sword.

Re: The Lakefront
"Hey, hey, no need for that. I'm sure no one wants to die or lose a limb today!" Lance quickly interjected, scowling now.

Re: The Lakefront
Lance swallowed before inching over to Collin. "Um... Mate.... Ya' might wanna start runnin'. I think ya' seriously PO'ed your sister." He muttered nervously to him, looking at the angry Pyra.

Re: The Lakefront
Collin looked over at his angry sister, and realized it was best not to engage. "Pyra. Calm down. Calm down." Collin threw her a towel conveniently on the ground.

Re: The Lakefront
Lance hovered by Collin, waiting to see what he would do and how Pyra would react. Of course he enjoyed a good argument, he couldn't help that, but he didn't like when things got physical.

Re: The Lakefront
"I didn't know what I could do! It's not like I carry towels around with me." Lance said defensively, raising his arms in front of his face. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry. I should have helped. I'm sorry!" He said, his voice a slightly higher pitch.

Re: The Lakefront
Pyra scowl turned into a wide grin. within seconds, she and Collin were cracking up and rolling on the ground. Pyra clutched her sides. "No no stop stop!" She yelled as Collin mocked Lance from the ground.

Re: The Lakefront
Lance simply crossed his arms and gritted his teeth. It was embarrassing, yes, but he didn't want to be charred and then decapitated or vice-versa. "Haha, very funny. Like I said, both of you should become impressionists." He muttered grumpily.

Re: The Lakefront
Pyra continued to laugh. "s.. s.. sorry!" She said, between her breath. "Could... couldn't resist!"
