Gender: Definitely a female.
Mortal Parent: Annabel Lee was a lonely young woman. Her whole life boiled down to keep her mediocre job as a waitress and daydream about a bright future that seemed to be increasingly distant. She didn’t have many friends and hadn’t gone on a date since high school, although she didn’t care. Her greatest objective on life was to have a child and start a family, but, however much she tried, she couldn’t hang in there. At 25 years of age, Annabel was already resigned to die alone and depressed.
Her plain life took a 360 degree turn when an attractive unknown walked into the café. Annabel was doing overtime, it was past midnight and she was completely alone, scrubbing a stack of dishes in the half light. She was pretty sure she had locked the door, and got frightened as she saw that elegant man walking towards her, but for some reason, her mind went numb when he looked in her eyes. She was convinced that he wouldn’t hurt her, and listened to every word he said, mesmerized. The man, who was actually Thanatos, decided to propose her a kind of pact. He would give her what she desired the most, in exchange for her mortal soul. Annabel laughed at that proposal, not being able to take it seriously. Nevertheless, she accepted it and fell unconscious in the next second.
In the next day, Annabel woke up undressed on her own bed, with a severe migraine and unable to remember what happened the night before. She assumed that she had drank too much, and decided to forget about that. She wasn’t surprised when, in the following week, she found out she was pregnant. She gave birth to a beautiful little girl and raised her on the first years of her life , never wondering about the identity of the father. Her life seemed to be have become perfect, until it ended, in a tragic car accident, when her daughter Flavia was only 2 years old.
God Parent: Flavia is daughter of Thanatos, the minor god of death.
Date of Birth: Flavia was born on 11-18-1997.
Place of Birth: She was born in Manchester, England.
Hometown/Last Residence: Her last residence was in the british city of Cheshire, in a compact apartment that she shared with her distant adoptive parents, Brian and Elisa, and her problematic half-brother, Justin.
Race: Flavia's race is a perfect miscigenation between caucasian and negroid.
Accent: Flavia's got a tight British accent. It may seem charming, as long as you can understand at least a few words she says. Newly arrived from England, she hasn't trained enough her American speech to get rid of her glitzy accent. Maybe she never will.
Skin Tone: Flavia's skin is dark tanned.
Eye Color: Flavia's right eye is chocolate brown and extremely miopic and her left eye is milky white, completely blind. She recently got red contact lenses that, in contrast with her dark pupils, makes her right eye look bleaky maroon, and her left one, blood red.
Hair: Flavia's hair is totally black and quite curly. She tried to smooth it in all possible ways, but it always stubbornly returns to it’s natural tangle. She often leaves it loose, with silky strands falling over her eyes, like a dark haired Merida. Flavia’s hair is a bit longer than shoulder-length, but it’s so voluminous that gives the impression to be bigger.
Height: Flavia heights 1,55 cm.
Weight: She weights 51 kg.
Body Type: Flavia defines herself as curvy. She has petite height and proportional weight, with a tendency to gain weight. Her perfection mania used to reflect on this area. But she stopped caring long ago, because she knows she doesn’t have the necessary self-control to quit eating candies. That was one of the reasons why she used to feel ugly for not suiting in the popular girl’s ridiculous exigencies, but nowadays, she’s mature enough to valorize herself. Her body type doesn’t prevent her from being happy.

Flavia has long and very curly dark hair. Her eyes are dark brown, but she wears lenses that make them look cold maroon. Her skin is dark tanned, a biracial tone. She's sort of pretty, but her fixed gloomly expression often makes people uncomfortable.
Flavia doesn't cares very much about what she dresses. Her average look is usually her beloved leather jacket, the CHB tee, dark jeans and a pair of white converses covered in small drawings and scribbles.
Despite her apparent personality, Flavia is a considerably vain girl. She likes wearing make-up, usually a discret layer of eye pencil and eyeliner, what makes her look a little punkish. Her skin is nearly free of pimples and her lips are naturally red.

Flavia's armor is pure Stygian iron, with a simple design and a matching helmet.

Flavia has a male black cat with deep blue eyes and an unusual crescent moon shaped mark on his forehead. The cat is called Lestat, as a tribute for the famous vampire, and he was mysteriously delivered soon after Flavia was claimed. At first, Flavia was afraid to touch him without gloves, but soon she found out that she was able to control the powers that at first seemed to be a curse.
Skills: Flavia learned how to play guitar when she was very young, self-taught. She writes songs as a hobby. As she arrived to CHB, she found out she also has some talents as a warrior. She's excellent at clamouflage, and her sight is so good that she can throw a knife unerring towards a target 20 meters away.
Flaws:
Independence: Most of the time, independence is defined as a qualitie, but in Flavia's case, it's one of her biggest flaws. Since her mother is gone, nobody is ever there for her. She's used to do things on her own, and she tends to distrust any kind of help offered. It contributes to her fails, because sometimes it's necessary to rely on the aid of other people, and we must recognize it.
Impulsive: Flavia would jump out of a cliff just to show you she can do it. She never thinks twice before doing anything. That brings her often bad results.
Melancholy: Flavia is a sufferer. Nothing in her life has ever been easy. The amount of unfortunate events made her sort of traumatized. She tends to take every little deception seriously, and that makes her gloomly for the rest of the day. This trend causes huge consequences, as the unbeatable depression.
Stubborn: If Flavia is convinced about something, nothing can make her change her mind. Besides being annoying, this can guide her through wrong ways sometimes.
Selfish: Flavia is always looking out for her own safety, and consequently she only cares about herself. She must truly love someone to be able to worry about him.
A forced smile: Flavia's only physical flaw is a very noticeable and huge scar that goes from the corner of her mouth to the beginning of her cheek. She doesn't remember how she got it, but it seems like someone was trying to put a smile on her face against her will. It seems to have been done by the Joker himself. Anyway, it left a great mark.
Half-blind: Flavia pretends to be only myopic, but the truth is way more complicated. Her left eye is completely blind, so the pupil has a creepy and not very attractive milky color. She doesn't knows if she was born like that or... Yeah, she was probably born like that. Death is blind, so is her. Anyway, she got tired of people asking unneeded questions about it, so she got red contact lenses that disguise it reasonably. Her sight obviously isn't very good, but she's used to it, and that doesn't prevent her from doing most of things.
Strengths: One of her biggest flaws is also one of her strenghts. It depends on the situation. Being independent can be really useful when you find yourself alone in risk, but not when you need some help and refuse to recognize it. She doesn't cares about anyone's toughts and opinions, since she's the only one who decides her actions and ways. Flavia is very fearless, she doesn't hesitate before facing any kind of danger. She knows what she wants and she's always determined to achieve something.
Weaknesses: Flavia has a fragile and skinny self-esteem, due to her hard time from the past, when nobody understood her and most people judged her. Nowadays, she partially overcame that, but if somebody says she's weak or unable to face something, she tends to believe it and give up. Flavia can hold a grudge for decades. She still hates that one kid who stole her toy when she was 5. That unforgiveness can harm her when she needs to make amends. She's a very emotional person, with random mood swings. She can get intensely angry at someone and calm down by the next second. But then the friendship is already wounded.
Likes: Flavia could list all the tiny this that make her less sad. She likes being lonely, so she can always be surrounded by silent and lull. Nevertheles, she likes listening to very loud classical rock music, watching the rainy wheater through a window, eating lots of junk food although she knows she shouldn't, playing her guitar while watching the hours pass, training her aim by trowing things on people. She's always seeking for a way to occupy her mind so she can avoid thinking about nostalgic things.
Dislikes: Flavia doesn't like minor stuff like hot weather, the color yellow, country music, spoilers and waking up early. There are bigger stuff that she usually says she hates, like prejudice, people who refuse to understand her problems, bullying and stupid drama. She also got the habit of searching for something hateful in everyone, and she's trying to overcome this and notice the beautiful features first.
Fears: Flavia has a few phobias, not all of them rational. She always tries not to demonstrate her fears, but in fact, she's on of these people who can't sleep without a light on. It may sound childish, but Flavia thinks she sees stuff in the darkness that normal people don't. The daughter of Thanatos isn't afraid of dying or having a painful death, but she's afraid of what comes next. Her biggest phobia is water, like rivers and the sea. If one day she has to face water during a battle, she will give up immediatly.
Personality:
Flavia is overly serious and sort of melancholic. Most of the time she's good at controling her emotions, you'll rarely see her laugh or cry. That doesn't mean she's inexpressive, the look in her almond eyes is enough to convey exactly what she's thinking. She's introspective and independent. The fact that she's very quiet may transmit disability, and that's why one of her biggest fears is to look fragile. Flavia is usually taking unnecessary risks, just to show people she's able to face them.
Powers: Flavia can take something's life away with just a small touch. This power may sound amazing, but it's quite limited. It will only work over plants, anyone up to a middle tree, and small animals, up to an adult golden retriever.. She can do it only 5 times per day, once every half an hour. She can also summon ghosts from the Underworld, only for a few moments, so she can contact them. Just like a few children of Hades do. She can summon only 5 ghosts per day.
Social Status: Because of her quiet personality, Flavia will never be able to really fit in. She's satisfied with only a couple true friends.
Summer or Year Rounder: Flavia decided she'll be a year rounder. She wouldn't dare to come back home and she believes her adoptive family thinks she was kidnapped and killed. Not that they would care...
Years at Camp: Flavia has been at CHB for about six months, and she's adapting herself better than in any foster home.
Life Before CHB: Flavia's entire life seems to be one of the most depressing tragedies. The bad luck started when she was just a baby, when any any hope she could have of living a normal and happy childhood died along with her mother. As a fragile little girl, she was sent to a poor and filthy orphanage on the most dangerous part of the town. She had to share a single bedroom with dozens of other children, including some jerks who would bully her, pulling her hair and stealing her stuff. The owners of the orphanage who were the only people responsible for her just wouldn't care. The day when she was finally adopted, when she was 6 years old, seemed to be a miracle. Her first adoptive parents were an adorable couple, Mike and Annie, who weren't able to have their own children and promised to raise her as if she had always been part of their family. Suddenly, things got way better. Annie loved animals and their house was like a small zoo. The young Flavia would play with her many new pets day and night. Until it happened. A healthy golden retriever died mysteryously after licking Flavia's hand. Annie cried her eyes out, but at first, it could only be a coincidence, and nobody would blame that different little girl. But, as the weeks passed, more and more animals would die after being touched by Flavia's tiny hands. She swore she hadn't done anything to them - and she really didn't - but that was no other possible cause, and Flavia was forbidden to play with the pets. Nothing seemed to change. Whenever a kitten brushed on her legs, it died immediately of unknown reasons. Annie was totally devastated and that started to slowly deteriorate her sanity. One night, she decided to get rid of that little demon before she began to hurt more than only animals. As Flavia slept quietly, Annie grabbed her and carried her back to the same old orphanage, abandoning her on the front door without giving any explanations. When Flavia woke up, she was back to that terrible life, with the certainty that she was a dangerous freak and nobody would ever want to adopt her again.
Nevertheless, at the age of 10, Flavia was adopted for a second time. The people from the orphanage wouldn't tell her new parents about her old "family issues", mainly because it was easier to believe that it was all paranoia from her last adoptive mother's insane mind. Flavia had been a sweet and quiet little girl for all that years, and she hadn't hurt anyone because there were no pets in the orphanage. After what happened, though, she refuse to touch even her friends, and turned out to be a lonely and a bit anti-social kid. Her new parents were enchanted with her anyway. At first, Brian and Elisa seemed to be nice and well-intentioned people. Flavia quickly adapted herself to her new home, although that family had some... Problems. First of all, Flavia got an older brother. She always wanted siblings, but not like that, because Justin would treat her like she was a piece of trash, and even worse, like she didn't belong to that family. It seemed to be true, because Justin was a terrible troublemaker and an awful student, the opposite of Flavia, her parents would care more about his problems and give him all the attention and caring that Flavia always deserved but never got. Plus, Brian was becoming affected by booze. Every night he would arrive home quite late and fight violently with Elisa. In fact, he would hit anyone who stepped in his way, even his own children. Elisa was becoming more and more distant, until one day she decided she would just leave her home and her family. That whole situation made Flavia depressed. She began to self-harm, but nobody seemed to care, except for one of her only school friends, Drake. One day he suggested they should run away, even aimlessly. And so they did. Actually, Drake was a disguised satyr, and he would take Flavia to somewhere was sure she belonged.
Role-playing Example: "From now you must fend for yourself." That was the only explanation Drake would give her before he left to the woods, trotting with his goat legs that were always well hidden under baggy pants. That wasn't the weirdest thing. Flavia frowned, trying to understand all the madness that had just happened. He brought Flavia to a summer camp in the middle of the school year, and then left her there. At first it was weird that, although they left with no directions, Drake seemed to know the way perfectly. Flavia was too shocked to question anything, mainly after he killed a couple mythologic creatures that were blocking their way, using a bronze baseball bat that he pulled out of nowhere. He guided her by to hand to some kind of camp, full of teenagers who seemed to be having a good time. Although they spent all day training with medieval weapons. Well... It sounded like fun. Flavia was used to going from home to home. She would face that place as another foster house. Maybe she would be happier in there. She's couldn't get why her long time friend disappeared after he brought her there, all she knew was that she was suposed to find a guy called Chiron. It was his job to explain her everything. "Well, whatever." She whispered to herself, trying to shove the fear away, as she walked down the hill that would take her to her brand new refuge.
