The Abandoned Observatory

"Naw...I'm good." Alexis called back up and looked through the rummage.

"Did you see anything down there?" I ask, wanting the journal desperately so I can dig into its secrets.

Alexis found the scraggly journal and threw it up to the girl. "Yeah." She sunk back into the ground and appeared next to the girl. "Your welcome."

"Thank you. So very much." I hug the book close to me. "I'm Ce-Le, daughter of Phobos."

Alexis cracked her neck. "Cool." She went back to the book that she was reading.

I roll my eyes, but smile a little. I sit down against the wall opposite from the girl and put the book beside me. I start staring at the maps on the wall, wondering who had put them there. I zone out pretty quickly .

"What's in that book?" Alexis nodded twoards the torn leather book.

"Hm? Oh, I was wondering the same thing. I found it in the middle of the floor. It looked like whoever had left it had been leaving in a haste. I was just interested." I tell her, still staring at the star maps. There's something about them that's bothering me.

Alexis nodded. "Sounds....interesting."

"Mhm...What are you reading? What genre?" I ask, getting my sketch pad out of my pocket and sketching the star maps down.

OOC: 1 se. someones shooting off fireworks and my dogs scared as hell

"It's just a journal about the stars and junk," Alexis read on.

"So you like that stuff?" I ask, continuing to draw the star maps.

OOC: ikr my parents are yelling at me for being insensitive

"Not really, I'm just really bored." Alexis sighed.

I finish the drawing and continue to study the maps. "Does it look like something's missing in those star maps over there? I say, pointing at the maps directly behind her.

Alexis turned around and studied the maps. "Nope." She stood and looked closely. "What do you think?"

"I don't really know, but something about them seems wrong." I keep staring, then shrug. "Well, if you're bored, why don't you go hangout with some of your friends?"

"I don't really have any friends." Alexis admitted.

I sigh. "Well, I guess we're here for the same reason."

"Cool." Alexis snorted and looked at the girl.

I see her looking at me. "What?" I ask, not rudely, simply curiously, as usual.

"Your strange." Alexis admitted.

"In what way?" I ask, not in the slightest way offended.

Alexis shrugged. "In a weird way."

I open my mouth in mock surprise. "Well that's sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me!" I tell her, wiping fake tears.

Alexis clapped her hands togeather. "Great!"
