    Mama, mama can't you see?
    Something is happening to your baby.
    Her heart is cold and blue
    There's nothing we can do.
    Her mind is blank and bland.
    All feeling is buried in sand.
    She's not completely sane...

    That she cannot explain.

    Who I Am

    I woke up this morning and looked in my almond mirror
    I saw at my copper skin
    I saw my ebony eyes
    I saw my golden pajamas
    I saw my oak bed
    I saw my beige pillows and sheets
    Then I saw my hair, black as pitch.
    After so much brown, I have found the one thing about me
    That is truly black.

    I can not take pressure
    I can not handle insults
    I do have feelings
    I do things I regret
    I have been taken advantage of
