Roller Derby Match

"Y-you really have no idea what it means to hurt someone, do you?" She asked, absentmindedly. "You aimed for my heart. You shot me with an arrow that exploded shrapnel. Y-you pointed an arrow at my face- what did you think was going to happen?" Jo croaked."I h-had a dislocated sh-shoulder... and n-no weapon. N-no-not even a pocket knife. Y-you wanted me d-dead then- you wan-nted me dead just like everybody else. S-so what's st-toping you now? Wh-why don't yo-oo-ou just shoot me; right be-etween the eyes, already?"

Jackson didn't response for a few moments, carefully thinking about the things to say before finally speaking. "If I had aimed for your heart, you would have been dead. And how woul have I known you were completely unarmed? Several demigods conceal weapons. You could have been as well. I don't want you dead, I'm not a killer, I'm a healer" he told her

"If you're a healer, then my father is a doctor; Every time he burnt me, cut me, he made careful sure to bandage it up so no one would know. You're only here because you feel guilty. You want me to say those three magic words to release you: 'I forgive you'. No,"

Jackson shrugged "I don't feel guilt for what I did anymore, in fact perhaps it was a good thing. It brought you down to earth for a few moments instead of thinking your tougher than you actually are. I could walk out and leave you here to suffer, but I'm not evil"

"Why don't you leave me, then? What in god's name is keeping you here? It certainly isn't compassion,"

"Because I have my reasons. Just as you have reasons to bully people" he replied wsrmly

"Hmph," She snorted, closing her eyes and said no more. She did her best to try and pretend that he wasn't there.

He frowned and looked at her wounds again, slowly unwinding the bandages and examining the pus filled infection

A shudder wracked the girl's body and she grit her teeth.

"You want me to fix this?"
He asked gently.

"No," Jo spat harshly. "Seeing as your last idea of "fixin g" me, involved giving me this wound,"

"We'll, would you rather go to a hospital?" He asked her

"I'd rather die," She hissed.

"We'll, that's what is gonna happen"

"Good," She mutters. "I suppose you must find it fit that the monster finally get what she deserves, eh?" She grit her teeth. It was sad, really. It was sad because even if he didn't believe that she was a monster who deserved to die, she did. She believed it whole heartedly.

She never did get her answer, though: because her body went slack and she fell unconscious.

OOC: is she gonna die?

BIC: He paused, and was about to answer when she fell unconscious, an this meant two thing to the son of Apollo. No more restrictions, and no giving up. He quickly attended to the infection, removing the pus and cleaning it as best her could, continuing to work his butt off again and again as he struggled to take away the lethal infection. After several minutes, then two or three hours into the morning of hard work he leaned back and looked at the freshly bandaged arm. Now he just had to see if he was too late

OOC I might. What do you care?

BIC As far as Jo was concerned, it was far too late to save her. Not that anyboy cared, really. Although she chose to live. For two reasons:
1. She didn't want to face her father in Hell.
2. She wanted to beat the living sh*t out of this Apollo boy later.

OOC: I don't really care, it's a theme when we rp, death.

BIC:

Jackson continued for some time before standing and backing off a little bit to eat a few bites of a Hershey bar he had beaten out of a vending machine

OOC Hmph. I suppose it is. But death is such an interesting theme. I enjoy RPing with you, and I enjoy RPing with Jo, so I suppose she'll live.

BIC:
Jo's eyes gradually flickered open and she subpressed a groan.

OOC: since it's a consistent theme, you get to kill some of my characters off

He smiled, watching her carefully

OOC I don't have a murderous character anymore......

BIC Josefina hissed a little bit at the realization that she was still in the stupid roller derby arena.

"Didn't want to move you" he replied to her hiss simply

OOC; aw...

Jo grit her teeth and shut her eyes again. She had a headache. A headache and an emotion- guilt. Why was this boy still helping her?

Jackson simply sat there as he watched her, humming along to some old Greek hymn to apollo

She willed the tidel wave of emotions to stop, but they kept crashing over her. She found herself shuddering from the cold and doing her best not to throw up the contents of her stomach.
