Trip to the city

Eric didn't like sitting here. Yes it was his idea to come and get some food, but Hunter could of followed them back. There wasn't really a safe spot for the happy couple to just sit in peace. He smiled, "Well we are not all kids of Cratus. They just threw us in the other gods cabin." It wasn't all that bad. His cabin mates were friendly enough. "Yeah, but those of us who are kids of Cratus, we sleep on bench press benches instead of beds."

Myka laughed quietly and nodded.  The waitress brought their food over, and Myka sipped her shake, the chocolate drink cooling her throat. She tapped the table lightly, watching the girls out of the corner of her eye as one of them fell over, laughing. She wondered what they were talking about.

BIC: The aroma of Eric's food brought salivation to his mouth and he prayed drool out. He quietly ate his food. When he was finished he sat up, call the waitress over, and paid the tab. He pulled out his phone, his eyes widening in shock.

"It's getting late." he announced, "How about we head back?"

Myka nodded, now noticing how the sunlight was dimming over the tall buildings. "Sure." she uncrossed her legs and got up, and once Eric did also, she walked out the red and white door, passing the now-empty tables. They walked down the street, Myka on the outside so that she took all of the bumps. She didn't want Eric to feel any pain from his wounds. She tagged down a taxi, and after they got into it, the cab pulled away towards camp- or at least, the closest they could get to camp.

Eric got out the cab, handing the cabbie some cash. He held open the door for Myka and helped her out. He watched the dust pick up behind the retreating cab. They walked in silence back into camp, stopping at the Ares cabin. Turning to Myka, he said, "Well, good night. Glad you came with me." He kissed her and walked away.
