Lorelei looked up, "...What." She now understood what he meant and said, "No. I just had it." She smiled down at the ring. She had owned for at least seven years now, that's why there is an adjustable strap thing. But she's pretty sure her mother did not give it to her. She would remember meeting her own mother.

"It's magic." She told Caleb. Lorelei winked and laughed. It was not magic in anyway. It was more like:
Pop: Hey Lei and Gus, we're going to New York. Have a ring and Gus here's a sword.
Gus: ...What?
Lei: YES!
That's basically every family conversation she has ever had with them. Her dad springs some weird thing upon the twins. Augustus, being the only sensible one in the family disagrees and is startled. Lei normally gets cool things out of it so she just goes with it.

Lorelei shrugged. She would consider herself as lucky, more like she's in places at the right time. Well actually no. She's at the right place but the wrong time.
Like when she snowboarded into Plexiglas. It sounds like it comes out of a cartoon but it really happened.
Or at camp when she longboarded into the arena when the Ares kids are training. That was not fun.

Lorelei shrugged. "We can go longboarding. I could grab you a board from my bunk. I dunno if ay of them are masculine enough for a cat drawing artist like yourself." Lei laughed at her own joke, again. What can she say? The daughter of Khione is one funny girl.

"Oh gods." She said. Lei doesn't remember anyone teaching her how to longboard, she kind of just did it. "Have you ever skateboarded?" She asked him. Longboarding as easier than skateboarding because the board is longer. Well duh. It's called a longboard for a reason.

"Then it's not that hard. You'll probably fall. And I'll probably laugh."

"C'mon you big lug, Mamma Lei is taking you on an adventure. Lorelei smiled, standing up shakily. She extended her hand for Caleb. "Now, let's roll."

"Well now it sounds stupid, Guardian thanks." Lorelei rolled her eyes as she picked up her board. "I'm going to have to change shoes though, I can't ride in these." Lei struggled to kick up her leg to show her Sperrys. She looked around the field. Ohmigods, she almost forgot her journal. Now that would've been a problem. Lorelei had all of her designs in there, plus letters from her dad. And letters from Gus. She had to admit she missed the goof. But Caleb is also a goof, so that's good for Lei. The daughter of Khione dropped the board on the ground and stood on it. She began braiding her dark brown hair absintmondedly, waiting for Caleb.

Lei took a tumble, as always. Lorelei Westmore was an idiot. Well Caleb nudged her, so could she call him the idiot. "Smooth, Caleb." She smirked, sitting inches away from her board. Lei could've easily snapped at him, that's what most of her friends would do. But she didn't. Lorelei just sat there looking at him.

Lei stood up and walked next to Caleb. A vague figure was coming towards the two. It could of been a demigod, but it looked tall, really tall. But Lorelei can't talk, she's a short person. It was probably taller than Caleb, and he's like a giant.(Well really a lot of people are giants compared to the poor daughter of Khione) if it was a god damned monster ruining her god damn good time with her friend Lorelei would just kill. Lei has rarely been in a monster fight. The Titan War was really it. She was with the Hermes kids then. Gods that was crowded. "....I-I don't know." She sad softly. Lei's fingers were near her ring, just in case.

Lorelei pressed the lantern and her sword appeared in her left hand. "CalebCalebCalebCalebCalebCalebCalebCalebCaleb." Lorelei panicked. Gripping her sword, lei stood still. She asumed that he would do something first.
