The wonderful weather gave Laure an imperious feeling of spending her day outside. Even though it was December, it was still warm enough to go out for a swim or dress in spring collection.
As soon as she was done with the Latin lesson, Laure took her handbag and left immediately for the Lake, her thick honey-blonde braid bouncing over one of her shoulders. Again, the young daughter of Aurora hadn't skimped on her look: she was wearing a pair of cream-white shorts with her violet Camp Jupiter shirt, golden arm cuffs around her wrists, amethyst earrings and plum-colored stilettos, showing her wealth.
Her make-up was in the nuances of lilac, mauve and purple with a trait of light golden eye-liner on her upper eyelids; she had a touch of blush on her cheekbones and a film of nude gloss on her lips that made her cheeky smile sparkle.
According to the latest mode tendencies, she had taken four random streaks of her hair and tainted them purple and dark, soft blue with color chalks, giving it a natural-looking shade without using a powerful die.
As she arrived at the lake, her long legs getting warm in the sun, she spotted a boy and a girl chatting at the side of the lake. She knew them. Well, on the other hand, she was among the popular cliques of Camp Jupiter, so she always knew people, whether through gossip, through lessons or through meetings at the Mess Hall. The boy was Bruce Stewart, a son of Bellona, and the girl was Charlotte Bay, a daughter of Venus.
Ew, a daughter of Venus. Laure highly disliked those though had to cope with them in the popular groups. Her mother, Aurora, had been cursed by Venus and a part of the curse had fallen on Laure at her birth, reason why she disliked the Venus children.
The boy, though.... she had met him somewhere, she knew it. And he was good-looking. So why not try it out? She approached the talking teenagers, looking at Bruce. Yes, very good-looking.
"Hello!" she said, her French accent poking through. "Would you mind if I joined you?"
