Stab Wound

Running into the infirmary, Xeos set Kat down on one of the beds before gathering some ambrosia and nectar.

Kat's head flopped around lamely. Her mouth gaped open like a fish- would she make it?

Sighing in relief seeing that it wasn't a deep wound, Xeos took out a small canister of salt. Walking back over to Kat he looked at her in the eyes while opening the salt and said "This is going to hurt. A lot." before dumping a hanfull of salt onto her wound before dribbling some nectar onto it.

Kat knew well that salt cleanses wounds- that's why it stings. She was barely conscious and cried out, but cut it off quickly. She refused to look vulnerable for the man who had just stabbed her. She didn't trust him. She didn't dare.

Shoving some ambrosia in her mouth, Xeos pulled out a water bottle and a needle with thread. After she swallowed the ambrosia, he then shoved a piece of wood in her mouth and poured water on her wound. Then, he began stitching it closed.

OOC Actually stitching a would closed without anesthetics doesn't hurt that bad. I've done it before.

BIC Kat defiantly spat out the wood and stared at the ceiling. It was an odd feeling: becoming a human quilt.

OOC Yes, but there is the fact that there is salt he is essentially salt being sown into the wound, which I know from experience hurts like hell

BIC Finishing, Xeos bit the end of the medical thread and wrapped her wound with bandages.

Kat closed her eyes.

Sitting down on a chair next to Kat, Xeos gathered some blankets and laid one over her before sitting down.

Kat fell into a deep, healing sleep. She slept for several hours before waking up again.

Seeing Kat wake up, Xeos stood up and walked over to her. He then said "Are you feeling better?" before sighing. "I'm very sorry about me stabbing you. It was an accident, I swear. Sometimes having good reflexes is more of a curse then a blessing." he said regretfully before wincing, and his leg wound was probably infected, as he spent all this time worrying, and he knocked his wound on a chair.

Kat's eyes flickered to Xeos then snapped back, uncarely. It was as if she cared nothing for his wellbeing. Which... She didn't. Not really. Not anymore. Every so often her eyes flickered towards him as if in fear that he might suddenly attack her. Distrust radiated from her body language. Kat pushed herself off of the cot and went to go rummage around in a cabanite.

Sitting down, Xeos began to mentally beat himself up... for the 13th time that night. He steeled his nerves, thinking of something, and took out his trench knives before poisoning them. He then drove the blades into his stomach with as much force as he could, crying out softly in pain. Clenching his teeth, Xeos thought 'I stab her with one blade, I stab myself with two poisoned blades. Hope she forgives me.' before his vision began darkening.

Kat heard a very disturbing noise. Turning back, Kat found herself watching a horrible scene unfold and frankly, it made her angry. It was as if it were some sick, twisted way of turn all the guilt on her. Now, if he died, it would be her fault. He'd made a mistake, one, stupid mistake and now he's throwing his life away? Kat had felt that her reacting to his stabbing her had been completely appropriate: she knew it was an accident but still! She had a perfectly logical reason to not trust him anymore. Clearly this boy was very deeply disturbed...

Kat was still reeling from her own stab wound. She grabbed a towel and pressed it on his wound, trying to staunch the blood. She reached for some nectar and poured it down his throat.

Coughing violently, Xeos attempted to prevent the nectar from going into his mouth. Grinning slightly, Xeos then said "You do know that this poison was only designed to cause pain, right?" chuckling slightly as he said it before gasping at the sudden flash of pain. Once it went away, Xeos then said "There. Hopefully you think we're even." before another flash of pain went through his body, causing him to double over.

"The f*** is wrong with you?!" Kat screeched. "No, I do not think we're even! I don't think we're sort of even!" She didn't feel safe around him anymore. He was some sort of psycopath, and it freaked her out. This was traumatizing: the fact that his life was in her hands. She had no idea what she was doing. She dumped nectar all over the wound, hoping it would donsomething.

Chuckling softly, Xeos replied with "Well, I am not going to die. I am only going to feel pain." before slowly standing up and walking towards the wall, which he leaned against.

Kat grew more and more frustrated and angry. "You stabbed yourself in the stomach! Twice! Yes you could die you goddamn idiot!" She yelled. "But fine! If you want I die, if you want to suffer, then leave me the Hell out of it!" Kat yelled, throughouly traumatized by the experience of what she was watching. She turned on her heels and started making for the door.

"Wait!" Xeos said as he started to go after her, only to cry out in pain and fall on the ground. Not going to let one of the few people he even mildly considered a friend, even though he met her only a few hours ago, he began to attempt to stand yet again and began limping and wincing over to her. "Please don't go."

Kat backed up. "No! No! I'm leaving! I can't deal with this anymore! I can't deal with any of this!" She cried, panicked.

Completely freezing in place, Xeos heard faint echoes of his memories, hearing the exact ting that Kat had just said. Slowly clenching his teeth and squeezing his eyes shut, Xeos attempted to get rid of the memories while turning around and slowly walking towards the door on the opposite side of the room, ignoring the pain all the while.

Wanting no more of this, Kat left the infirmary.

Xeos walked out of the door he was facing.
