QUESTIONS!

First Question: Who is Benedict Arnold? And why do Americans call him a traitor?

Second Question: Who is Napoleon Dynamite?

Third question: Which was the greatest Empire known to history?

Fourth question: Why was the American civil war fought?

These are the first four questions............. Hope you people can answer them soon!

The American civil war was fought because of the political unrest following the use of slavery in the south and the abolishment of it in the north. It also was fought because of America's expanse to the west and the arrival of new territories. It was not a necessary war though; the improvement in technology would have eventually abolished slavery all by itself, but the north was not willing to wait. The entire succession of the southern states was due to several factors, one being the constant demands to free slaves, and another was confusing laws of the time period. Harpers ferry and a few slave trials didn't help the situation either.

Napoleon Dynamite is a high school student who is socially awkward and loves spending time on the internet, and wants to be a cage-fighter - great film xD


Oh, and the British Empire of course!
The sun never sets on the British Empire.

But, at the same time, you could argue others, but the British was the largest.

I forget Benedict Arnold. Napoleon DYNAMITE is not a real person.

The American Civil War was fought because the "North" wanted to abolish slavery while the "South" wanted to keep slavery around because most of the income the South made came from plantations rich people owned and bought slaves from Africa to work for.

You're really going to have be more specific as to what you're looking for in the greatest empire part.
The largest ever was the British, I believe.
But, the Roman empire had a lot going for it too, but you could also present arguments for the Persian Empire, Ottoman, Russian, Mongol, Holy Roman, and others that I can't think of straight off the top of my head.

so basically "who can google these questions faster"

Im assuming in 'murika you're taught about Benedict Arnold? Since he's a part of your history?

Napoleon Dynamite is a film.

The greatest empire, well again, this depends on how you argue it.

And I know you're all taught about the 'murikan civil war.

Actually Josh, you'd be surprised. From my personal memory of school years past, I learned basically nothing about Benedict Arnold. I actually learned more about him from a T.V. show (Ned's Declassified had an episode that showed a hallucination of the dude and briefly described his background) than I ever did in school.

Then I take that back, and I am surprised. I did think something like Benedict Arnold would be covered, especially with the rest of the history you're taught.
But oh well. The rest of my things still stand, unless someone says different about those too.
