Ever since he left Peachi, Hani hasn't been in the water much, which was weird since he practically lived in the water. The only way he gets to swim and on the rare occasions surf was if he waits until he heads back to Peachi or go swimming in the beach. But with training, he was lucky he even made it to the beach. But it was his lucky day, there was only a couple of people at the beach and he was swimming.
Hani was in the water for probably an hour before coming out, water dripping from his bare chest and black swim trunks. Some nearby girls were actually giving him the flirty eye but he paid no attention to them, they weren't his type. He liked girls that take charge but that was hard to find. Sighing, he perched himself on a nearby rock, staring out at sea.

Being bored is not an option for Ronnie Lee. Being bored is only one step up from rule breaking. So, to prevent the strike of boredom, Ronnie keeps a schedule. Every day she does the same thing. And everyday at half past one, Ronnie runs on the beach. So there she was, her dark ponytail swinging with each step. Her headphones were in and the volume was cranked up high. She had put the iPod on shuffle so she was currently listening to Hungry Like the Wolf, by Duran Duran. She wasn't the biggest fan of eighties music, but she wasn't going to change it.

Ronnie stopped running near a couple boulders to rest and check her pulse. Running on sand was hard and it wore her out easily. The first week she started running she could barely make it half a mile before feeling fatigued. Now she could go much farther. The daughter of ares took a seat on a boulder and nodded politely to a guy on another one. She'd get going in a moment, she just needed to catch her breath.

Hani had the feeling he wasn't alone any more and tore his glance away from the sea to the person sitting next to him. It was a girl, panting a breathing heavily. All she gave him was a quick nod before turning away, casuing Hani to chuckle. He doesn't get that reaction from girls normally. She seems interesting.

"Hows it going Pua?" He asked, a smile planted on his face.

Ronnie wiped some of the sweat off her forehead. While she sat, Ronnie stretched her arms and tried to fix the wisps of hair that were falling in her face.
Out of the corner of Ronnie’s eye, she saw the guy’s mouth moving. She pulled out her headphones (which were now blasting Eternal Flame. For some reason Ronnie has a lot 80’s songs on her iPod) and looked over at him. She only heard the last word ‘Pua’. And then she was confused. “Sorry, what was that?” she asked while simultaneously trying to figure out what had been drowned out by the music. What did Pua mean? She hadn’t heard of the word before. The way he said it made it sound like it was a title. The smile on his face inferred that it wasn’t an insult. But guessing wasn’t going to get her an answer.

Turns out the girl didn't hear him. All she did was pull out her headphones and start paying attention to Hani, causing him to chuckle. She probably didn't hear what he called her either. Even if she did, she would've had no idea what it means.

"I said, How's it going Pua." He repeated, the smile not vanishing from his face.
