Prince wandered in, seeming to be lost. Actually, his mind was so tangled with thoughts that he was barely paying attention on where he was going. He realized that he was next to the lake and decided to settle down there because his feet were tired. Maybe he could take a nap. That would help to silent his mind. He had been like that since the prom night. He began to question every single action he did in that day, because he felt like he left something important unfinished. He also wondered how Sofia was feeling about it, as he hadn't seen her since. Maybe she was angry at him for some reason that he couldn't figure out. After all he just... Left her there... Without saying some deep quote like Augustus Waters would do. It may sound absurd, but Prince realized that he wasn't good with actual romance. One night stands were way easier. What bothered him the most, though, was that she needed help and he probably couldn't help her. He sighed while he stared at the lake hopelessly and kept thinking and thinking. He just wanted to see her again, although he had no idea of what he would say if she just stepped in front of him. He would probably just act stupid, again. It was his speciality. He put his headphones on and sat by the lakeside. Listening to loud rock'n'roll usually made him feel better about anything. Usually.

Sofia stumbled as her feet transitioned onto the soft sand. She looked up from her book, dog-earing her page as she realized she was at the lake.
She chose the spot farthest away from everyone else at the beach, just in case he was with them. Of course, by he, I mean Prince, the poor soul who she was a bit smitten towards. Since Prom night, she'd been thinking about him night and day, trying almost everything to distract herself. The worst part was, she hadn't been able to finish a single sculpture, drawing, story, or thought.
She settled down in the sand, far from the water, and picked up where she left off in her book.

Prince closed his eyes for a few seconds as he tried to relax, and when he opened them again, he was confused by a not so pleasant surprise. He could see from far a girl who was reading while walking and stumbling around. She looked familiar. Prince wouldn't lie to himself - he realized that he could recognize Sofia from a few miles away. Maybe the right thing to do was to talk to her and probably apologize as he should. But it was too hard and the sun was making him lazy. He got to the conclusion that if she really wanted to talk to him, she would come closer by herself. Maybe he should leave her alone, even after all that happened. He couldn't help to glaze at her like some kind of stalker. She was actually pretty. Maybe Prince needed a psychiatrist.

Sofia looked up from her book as she felt someone's gaze on her. She looked towards where she felt the eyes and noticed a familiar face that made her light-headed and dizzy. He was here. She stared, her mouth hanging open slightly. She closed it and looked back down at the sand. She knew it was too late, though. She'd stared so long, there's no way he hadn't noticed.
Now what? Oh, crap, he probably thought she was some Aphrodite idiot. She didn't want to reinforce that by approaching him in her shorts and long-sleeved t-shirt. But she didn't want to act like some Aphrodite snob and just act like he wasn't there.
Her brown hair hung lightly over he shoulder, and she flipped up her sunglasses, quickly making her decision and gathering her nerve. Just act like Tessa she thought, imagining the young character from The Infernal Devices, adorned in her long gowns and strong feminism.
She stood up and half-strutted half-dragged her feet over to where he sat, stopping about five feet away from him and sitting back down. She opened her book and tried to concentrate on the words, but couldn't. She was too aware of how close they were. She sighed and put the book away.
She sat there, listening to the water and birds and various chatter of the camp. Finally, she found some courage to talk, and mustered a simple, "Hey."
OOC: I don't even know where all these words came from. Like, I literally had a 7 sentence post planned out in my head but then I was all like OMG SINCE IS RPING AGAIN so yeah xD

You know that cliché from romantic comedies, about how people who are in love have a sudden tachycardia when they see their crushes? Prince never believed that until it happened to him. His heart beat faster when he saw Sofia walking towards him and he heard her sweet voice. He couldn't control it and it made him feel dizzy for a moment. Damn. He looked at her and smiled shyly. "Hey." He repeated the same salutation, but it sounded too cold. "I'm so glad to see you." It was true and he could admit it with the correct words. He couldn't hide the way how his eyes shone, though. His rational side was telling him to try not to stutter like a moron. He felt like a moron, actually. Maybe it was some Aphrodite effect, although he thought that Sofia wouldn't use one of these evil tricks if it was her choice. She probably didn't have any interests or intentions about that poor little slag.

Sofia blushed and looked away, down at the sand. "Really?" She said, a twinge of excitement lighting her voice. "I mean, yeah, me too. I mean, not glad to see myself, but..." she stopped, and her blush began to blush. She looked back up at him, her head still ducked a bit as she pushed her hair behind her ear.
"I...I, umm, wanted to..." What did she want to do? Now, that was the true question. "I...Do you, want to...Maybe, like, go somewhere to..." She said, unsure of how to finish. Gods, was she coming on too strong? "I'm sorry," She said, meaning to apologize for the night before, but it was a bit out of place, so it probably sounded like she was apologizing for her uncertainty of what to say.

Her awkwardness was so adorable. Prince's surely wasn't. The way how she moved nervously made him want to hold her. Somebody should tell Cupid that that wasn't funny at all. Well, one of them should try to be secure, or else that situation wouldn't lead to anything. "I don't see any need for a formal date yet." He laughed, although he was wondering if he sounded like a jerk who didn't want a serious relationship in any circumstances. That was really becoming a paranoia. "What if you just sit by my side so we can have a nice conversation about...?" About what happened that night? "...About how is your life going?" When he kissed her, he lit the spark that would start an inferno. He shouldn't have kissed her. But at the time, if felt so right. "Maybe I am the one who should apologize. It feels like I should have done something else to help you." He was completely serious again as he pronounced those honest words.

Sofia nodded and swallowed quickly. "Okay, then. Life hasn't really changed much. I mean...You know," She said, once again not really sure what to say. "And what about you?" She asked, hoping to divert the conversation towards something she was actually good at, like listening.
"No! No, please don't apologize. The way I acted was..." Justified through worry? Completely unacceptable? "...My own responsibility. I don't want you to feel bad about it. Actually, if you want, we can forget the whole night," She finished, but she knew there were some things she didn't want to forget. Like the way it felt when he kissed her, or the ways his eyes sparkled in the lights of the dance floor.

Prince shrugged while he lay down on the grass behind him and tried not to watch while Sofia moved. "Nothing. I think I haven't lived enough for something remarkable to happen." Sometimes people don't live. They just exist. That was how Prince was feeling for his last stressful days. "Wait, I thought that you were the one who was upset about all that happened!" He grinned again. This time, it was a calm grin of relief. He could feel as the burden of blame was lifted from his shoulders. His only worry was to have made Sofia feel worse. Apparently, he didn't. She wouldn't lie about it, right? "I think you acted as you should. Maybe I chose the wrong words. All I want is to help you. Because you know you need help." He stared right into her eyes, no matter how much that caused him chills. He wouldn't let her deny what he said this time. "And I refuse to forget that night, my angel. Those weren't really the worst of memories." He was almost blushing as well. Did he just unconsciously called her "my angel"?

Sofia looked him back in the eye. Accepting help? Well, that wasn't anything new. She'd had therapists, psychologists, nurses, and all of the like poking around her mind, heart, and emotions for a while. Now, accepting help from a guy you didn't want to fall for, but you knew you already had a sort-of crush on? That was new.
"People have tried to help me before, you know," She said, looking down at the grass and tracing the letters of her name in the grass, over and over and over again. "Nothing's worked. They've all given up on me. And to be honest, I don't know if I can handle anyone else doing the same," It was the truth. She was tired of the rejection, tired of the cancellation of her appointments. She just wanted to sit there and do art and read and write and eventually waste away unnoticed.

OOC: Sorry, my exams just started.
Prince felt like rolling his eyes. Instead, his hand tried to reach hers. With a simple touch, he would try to transmit her some strenght. Something told him that she wouldn't just slap him away this time. "I know. It's always like that. See, all you need is willpower. Only you can help yourself. You may think that you are trying, but in fact, you need an inspiration to go on. Maybe no one ever made you believe in yourself." He smirked. A weird warmth ran through his body. Nothing that he was used to. "You are so tough, Sofia. That's what fascinated me. I've met many weak people who just pretend to be strong. You may be wounded, but you are strong." He stroked her hand with his thumb, and wondered if she enjoyed that. Well, if she didn't, she would make him stop, and he would be awkward again. It might be weird, for a experienced lover, who rarely held a girl's hand. Was he doing it right? "You may think that I'm just doing the same speech as many others. The difference is, I've never been so honest before. My twin sister also has a terrible self-esteem, even though she's the most beautiful girl in the world. I really don't understand. But if you refuse my help, I will just never touch this subject again. If you refuse my love, I will leave you alone." He would try to quit being a Narcissus for a while, as he finally found someone that he could possibly love, and who wasn't him or his female version. He stared at Sofia as someone who tries to understand the meaning of a piece of art, as he waited for her reaction and wondered if he had the permission to touch her some more or even kiss her again. That girl was a tiger, and he was used to silly little kittens. Just a weird metaphor.

OOC: I am so sorry for the delay! Its kind of been the same with the rest of my rps. I had only phone access for a while, so I could only check email and not post, so I kind of lost track of what responses I'd had and hadnt had!
BIC: Sofia smiled sweetly. "If you really want to try, I won't stop you. But if this doesn't work, I'm not trying it again," She sated, looking up through her hair at her last statement. For some reason, she just couldn't say no to him.
At his touch, her insides turned, and her skin got sort-of tingly. Maybe you're just cold. Maybe there's some kind of scientific explanation or something. She knew, though, even as she tried to convince herself of this, that it wasn't true.
"So, what's you're first plan of action?" She asked, her voice whispering through a slight smirk flowing on her face.
