Pets: A young fire dragon that he hatched from an egg, as well as a phoenix he befriended.
Talents: He is a very fast runner, is very smart, and is really strong, though not as strong and definitely not as buff as the other children of Pytiphlegethon.
Skills: Martial arts, sword fighting
Weapons: Frangos, a flaming medieval broadsword, and Crond, a fire hammer. They were given to him by his father, Pyriphlegethon.
Flaws:Chris's flaw is that he is a real hot head. He gets angry easily and is also very impatient, often running into battle when he's not ready.
Powers: Since his father is a god of a river of flame, Jonathan can control and create fire and heat. The closer he is to a source of heat the more powerful he gets. He can do anything from raising someone's temperature slightly to creating a giant flamestrike. His powers drain him, sometimes making him pass out, and the only way for him to regenerate is to get someplace hot. He can't use his powers when he's wet and is immune to all heat, fire, and lava, so he can pass through unharmed.
Life Before CHB: Jonathan lived in many places in his life, all of them hot. He was born in Hawaii, his mother being a Hawaiian native. When Jonathan was seven they moved to Nevada because of monsters. They staid there until monsters chased them out when Jonathan was ten. They then moved to Brazil for a few months before being chased out again. They then moved to Mexico for the rest of the year before being chased out again. They then moved to Egypt for a year before being chased out again and moved back to Nevada. They were chased out again by monsters when Jonathan was thirteen. He and his mother then fled to camp half blood with the furies, the minotaur, the hydra, and an army of harpies and manticores. Luckily, when they reached camp Percy and a large group of campers where at the gate and were able to help. Jonathan's mom moved back to Hawaii and Jonathan began his new life at camp half blood.
RP Example: Jonathan walked outside, breathing in the warm night air. He heard a noise and and quickly hid, not wanting anyone to see him because of the stupid curfew. Luckily, ever since one of the harpies went up in flames after trying to eat him they left him alone. He looked up and saw a shape pass through the trees toward the lava spring just outside of camp. Jonathan followed it, wondering what it could be. When he got to the entrance of the tunnel leading to the lava spring he looked around. Nothing. He was about to turn around when he was suddenly attacked by a lava dragon. The dragon came out of the tunnel and started spewing lava at him. He passed through unharmed and sent a fireball into the dragon's eyes. The dragon stopped and bowed, saying, "Hail son of Pyriphlegethon. I am dearly sorry for my misstep. I did not know it was you. I was sent here by your father. He has something for you in here. Please, follow me." Jonathan didn't really believe the lava dragon but he followed him anyways. This was going to be interesting.
Notes:Jonathan, being a son of Pyriphilegethon, hates all water, so instead of swimming in water, he swims in lava! He also doesn't get along with the children of Poseidon, them being water and him being fire. He has mixed feelings for Percy though because Percy saved Jonathan's father, but he is also a son of Poseidon.
For those who don't know what a flamestrike is, a flamestrike is when fire erupts out of the ground, doing lots of damage.
