tough guy, huh?

Kayla groaned and covered her head with her pillow. Her siblings were so loud, especially during the morning, and Kayla found it just down right annoying. She was torn between strangling ever single one of them or pressing the pillow harder into her ear. She settled for the latter since she'd rather not got into any fights in her tired state no matter how easily angered she was. It wasn't worth it.
Despite her attempts to try to go back to sleep an hour later, she sat up in her bunk all bleary eyed and with a messy bed head. Since she had a top bunk, she was able to see a small piece of the cabin from above which showed that most of her siblings were either still asleep (how they slept through that elephant herd, she didn't know) or gone to their activities. Except for one who was awake and seemed to be working out? Kayla squinted her eyes to decipher who the black hair and broad shoulders belonged to since she only saw him from behind. She saw a glimpse of his face and tried to recall a name. Darren? Damon? Damien. She was pretty sure it was Damien. Never talked to the guy much but then again she didn't really talk to anyone period unless it was exchanging mean words. Not like it mattered.
