Owen's Attempt #675858

Owen sat on a rock, on the beach, enjoying the sun. He wore a sleeveless white shirt, even though he is skinny as heck. His blonde hair was in a mess and he wore red swimming trunks. He loved the beach: girls, swimming, sun, girls...did he mention girls?

Hilda had stumbled into the sandy beach. She decided that she wanted to get some sun on her break from the arena. She wore a gray, v necked t-shirt with a white pair of shorts. She only wanted to get her feet wet before heading back to fighting area. The daughter of Athena stretched out her hands, absorbing the rays of sun.

Owen saw Hilda and smiled. She was pretty dang hot, in his opinion. He casually walked over to her. "Hi, I'm Owen. You know, you are really hot. Do you want to go grab some cheeseburgers or something?"

Hilda turned to see who would ever talk to her like that. The daughter of Athena raised her hand and slapped the living day lights out of him. "How dare you address me in that manner?! Do you know who I am? Who my mother is?!" She growled, balling her fists. Hilda had half the mind to wipe out of spear and impale the hijo de p*ta

The smack hurt. Wasn't a surprise, but it hurt. "Of course I know who you are. You're an angel. By the way, are you from Ohio? Because you're the only ten I- wait, I think I said that wrong. Let me think about it over dinner tonight, just me and you. Sound good?"

She was speechless. Was this some type of prank or was this a a legit demigod asking her out. Hilda tapped her chin and thought for a moment. "Are you a fire truck? Because you sure are annoying and loud." The daughter of Athena countered as she pushed passed him.

"That was a comeback, not a pick up line. Learn your parts of speech- I actually know someone that can teach you! Dr. Owen. He's actually a love doctor, but he can discuss it over a date tonight at eight."

Hilda let out a growl, almost turning around to straggle the living day lights of him. "Let me say this in ingles. I, Hilda Marie Velez will never go on a date with you. Comprenda?" She asked him before trekking her way toward the salt waters of the beach.

"Well, you wouldn't even go on a date with me if I cleaned myself up a bit? I can be sychopathic- errr, I mean sophisticated. Watch this." He went up to a random girl. "If regular girls are rated 6.5, you are a 9.567858. To the fifth power." She just walked away. "See?"

The daughter of Athena rolled her eyes and mumbled something in Spanish. To be honest, no one really talked to her at camp. She usually just stayed in the library or at the arena sword fighting. Hilda exhaled and sat down where the sea met the sand, staring over the vast ocean.

Owen sat next to her. "So, no to the date?"

Hilda sighed and looked down at the sand beneath her feet. "If you can beat me at a fight, then I'll suck it up and go on a date with you. But if I win, you have to leave me alone."

"Hmm, I feel as if I'm being tricked, so let me add another stipulation. If I win, you have to go on a date with me and kiss me on the lips for at least ten seconds."

She thought about it for a second before looking him up and down. "Uh, how about no kissing and I'll hold your hand for ten seconds." She offered, trying to compromise.

"Kiss me for five seconds. It has to involve kissing." Owen decided to try to trick her. He put on a cocky face. "Unless, you don't think you can beat me."

[color=gray"Oh I can beat you."[/color] She said quickly, offering him a handshake to finalize the bet. "Deal. And don't try anything."

Owen shook her hand, grinning. It actually worked. "Try anything? Pshhhh, yeah right."

Hilda Vélez rolled her eyes before letting go and standing up. She brushed off her shorts and activated her spear and shield. "Are you ready, chico?"The daughter of Athena asked with a smirk on her face.

"Ready to win a kiss from the hottest girl in camp? Heck yeah!" He didn't have any weapon; he had a plan. And powers if stuff got out of hand. But mostly a plan. He went to run at her, then "fell down" and "hurt his knee."

"Owww!" He put on his best I'm-in-pain-face. At this point, if she fell for it, he'd take her spear, trip her, and win. The plan was wild.

Hilda rolled her eyes, blushing a bit when Owen made the comment. She readied herself for the male demigod, but before she could do anything major, Owen had fallen.

"Oh come on! Get up!" She ordered, walking over to him and putting the tip of her spearhead at his throat.

"I think I hurt my knee-ouchhh. Can you help me up?" He held out his hand, hopefully at this point he could steal the spear.

Hilda glared down at him, sticking her spear into the sand as she tried to help him up. "You're a horrible warrior. Who's your God parent?"

Owen quickly grabbed the spear and attempted to trip her, pointing it at her carefully the entire time. "Hermes," he said, confidently.

The young warrior stumbled back some, holding up her shield defensively. This chico was quick and had unfortunately unarmed her from her main weapon, but she still had too more. Her brain and her shield. "Of course it had to be Hermes.." She hissed as she swung her shield at Owen.

Owen barely dodged the shield. He huffed a bit. Time to stop sucking. He attempted, again, to swipe her off her feet, because he didn't want to hurt her; no armor, plus he kinda was overprotective about her. What? She was one of the hottest girls in camp, and plus she didn't completely annoy him or be a diva.
