She slammed her shield toward his arm and torso, hopping to disable him as well as show him what pain she could inflict. "You know, I don't need this shield to beat your sorry, a$$." She said and tossed her shield to the side and began to put her hair up in a high ponytial.

Owen got hit, drop the spear, but he quickly picked it up again. He was in pain, however. "You're really competitive, I see," he admitted, grinning a bit. Owen saw her drop her shield. But Owen was smarter than that. He wouldn't kill her over a matter of a date. He would trick her.
He took his spear and swung it at her, but stopped halfway. He dropped it and pretended to start crying. "I just can't hurt you! I just want a date with the prettiest, smartest, most awesome girl in camp! That's it- fine, you win. Bye." He pretended to look sad, and he slowly started walking away.

Hilda stood there, not moving at all when Owen kissed her lips. Was he for real? One part of her wanted to rip his throat out with her own teeth while the other part of her wanted the surpise peck on the lips to last longer.

Owen, as he walked away, surprisingly didn't hear any murderous threats. So, he turned back around, to see her blush. He didn't know what else to say, at that point. "See you at eight, then?" he simply said, and left the beach.
