Raven Ryan Regan, or Trip as people called her, was currently walking through the New York city mall. Her objectives: Get a Sprite, which was done, find something new to wear, which was in the works and try not to get killed, which was going alright. People walked through the pavillions, their hair's dyed brightly compared to her dark brown color. Their clothes bright as well compared to her dark blue t-shirt, neutral skinny jeans and combat boots. Walking through the shop filled building she kept her eyes pilled for any trouble as she took a large gulp of her Sprite.

Re: Don't blow up the Elevator yet.
Dimitri had a system going to ween him off of total dependency of the barrier of Camp Half-Blood. It had become a place he considered a second home, however, he'd never be able to live near his first home if he hid behind the force-field forever. Camp Half-Blood was absolutely beautiful and full of people who could relate to Dimitri. And while he was grateful for it, being stuck in one spot forever just wasn't a way to live life. Camp was no cage, unless you forced it to be.
For a short while now, he'd been leaving (with expressed consent, of course) camp in order to be out in public for what was usually short bursts of time. Ultimately, it was so he could get experience surviving, which was slightly unnerving. Having to survive meant that something would challenge your well-being sooner or later. Dimitri didn't look forward to finding out what that might be, but he was in New York City, which was within close proximity to Long Island. He would make it back home, he assured himself.
The mall was already confusing enough to him. It baffled him that so many people crowded together to spend their days searching for stuff to buy. Didn't people only buy things when they needed them? Furthermore, why were there several more clothing stores than other stores? And why was someone giving away a free car? And candy shops existed?! Maybe this whole city thing wasn't all that bad.
So long as nothing attacked him.

Re: Don't blow up the Elevator yet.
Basil grinned as he stared up at the mall. He was about to smoke another cigarette before he went in considering he wouldn't be able to smoke once he was inside the building. Basil pulled the pack out of his pocket and brought the cigarette to his lips. He flicked open his Zippo and lit the cig. He took long draw before taking it from his lips. It was slightly windier today from other days. Basil wore his brown leather jacket with a plain black tee shirt underneath. His slightly baggy jeans and his vans summing him up. He readjusted his beanie and took another drag of his cigarette.
"It's been awhile since I last left camp. It's pretty chilly out though." Basil said to himself, he took another drag and let the smoke fill his lungs before exhaling. He shivered and finished off his cigarette and flicked it to the grounded stepped on it as he sauntered into the mall. He nodded to two woman who were exiting whom politely smiled back and waved to him. Basil continued inside the building running his shakey hands through his hair he walked through the mall stopping upon a couple shops to peek inside. He hadn't really come for anything in particular, just for the sake of getting out of camp.
He walked over to a bench and took a seat. Basil rested his hands on his thighs and curled his fingers. It was colder in here then outside for some reason. He readjusted his jacket and shuffled slightly on the bench completely in dismay of the cold when it was summer. It wasn't supposed to get this cold and it certainly was NOT in his liking.

Re: Don't blow up the Elevator yet.
Finally finding an interesting dress to wear to the party this weekend, Raven stepped out of Forever 21 and seen a few spots to sit. One bench here, there and well, one that wasn't filled up with a casually dressed boy sitting upon it. With a sigh, tossing her empty drink into a trash can and switching the bag from the right hand to the left, Trip would walk over and sit down on the far edge of the bench from the boy. Not to be rude she would simply say "Hello," before pulling out her cell-phone.
Not being able to help herself, she gave the boy another quick glance as she quickly looked away one more. She had a strange feeling that she had seen hime once before, she just simply could not remember where.

Re: Don't blow up the Elevator yet.
Dimitri continued his stroll, and his questioning of big city customs distracted him enough to forget the intense paranoia. That was the biggest problem with being a demigod: safety in numbers didn't apply with mortals. The mist protected them, and Dimitri envied it. Of course, it was all about the scent, and how potent it was. Being the child of a minor god, Dimitri didn't have it as bad as some other kids did. Being around so many people, the scent would be very difficult to track. Dimitri was beginning to let all of those little details sink in, and he was beginning to feel really safe where he was.
Until he swore he saw something from the corner of his eye.
His head darted to the left, his peripheral vision turning into his primary vision. Surely enough, there was nothing there. Dimitri's breaths became ever so slightly faster, but he remained calm. It was nothing. And if it was anything, he would survive. That was why he was here, after all. He continued walking through the crowds of people, but he couldn't keep his head from rapidly wandering. Something was in this mall somewhere. And he didn't know what.
Dimitri stopped at a bench, he needed to fully regain his composure and decide what he wanted to do. By the time he was sitting across from what he assumed to be a couple, he'd began talking himself out of it. It was all simply paranoia, he told himself. There wasn't anything coming after him. "Good mornin'." Dimitri said, his eyes finally resting on the two instead of wandering.

Re: Don't blow up the Elevator yet.
Basil grinned and looked from the girl whom had just sat down next to him to the boy across from them. "Hello, good morning." He turned to the girl and then to the boy again. Something spiked his interest, "You guys... look... familiar? Do I know you?" His curiosity getting the best of him. Basil tapped his zippo in his pocket along with his throwing knives. He hadn't brought his sword with him today and now that he thought about it, that probably hadn't been his best choice. Basil fidgeted with his sleeves he was slightly uneasy and felt like something was going to happen. He tilted his head slightly to the side catching a flash of something he turned his head quickly. Basil could have sworn he just saw something but maybe it had been nothing.
Basil shook it off and turned back to the conversation biting his lip he was starting to become nervous. He tapped his cigarette carton slightly faster. Basil itched to light another o to calm his nerves but alas he could not since the inside of the building had a rule against smoking. He drummer his fingers rhythmically along the carton and with his other hand he rubbed his knifes. "Did you guys see that?" Basil asked without thinking his eyes widened they probably thought he was crazy now he looked down and continued to rub the knife. He sneezed and cut his finger because he's clumsy as frick. Basil cursed lightly to himself and put his finger in his mouth. He was being so stupid and for what? This could lead to his death.
Basil took his finger out of his mouth and examined it closely, the wound wasn't that bad and he sighed. First he things he sees something and now he's cutting his finger on things that is supposed to HELP him survive and not get hurt when he's in danger. He's probably in more danger with the freaking throwing knives then he would be without them! Basil shuffled in his seat and watched his finger before putting it back in his mouth to stop the bleeding.

Re: Don't blow up the Elevator yet.
Raven smiled at the boy's comments'. "Good morning to you both as well." Looking up from her phone, she realized that her weapon was in her book-bag, the one that was currently slung over her shoulders and she typically used to carry such things in times such as this. "You know... you two guys look familiar too..." Mere coincidence by any chance? She shook her head slightly. No, that couldn't be it.
Typically Mortals were to never know about Camp. After all, it wasn't as if they would really understand rambling about climbing walls that spit lava, cabins that held demi-gods and goddess's that were actually children of God(ess)s'. She did see something out of the corner of her eye, but taking a closer look she would realize that it couldn't be anything that the boy was talking about.
Instead it was a pale figure of a boy, approximatley 12 year's old, his clothes tattered and dirty. there was only one thing she could identify him as: another ghost that would need more help that she was indeed not ready to give at the moment. Being a child of Hecate had it's perks, but also it's downsides as well. She shook her head. "Actually... I did see something," she murmured. "Anyways, what brings you guys here?" she asked.

Re: Don't blow up the Elevator yet.
Dimitri was always one for conversation, especially when it came to strangers. He grew up around all the same people his whole life, so he found strangers incredibly interesting. He knew far too much about his friends and family back home that it baffled him to think he knew nobody in any way here. It wasn't intimidating to him though, but vastly interesting. "I don't really know." Dimitri commented. "Everyone I don't know by name looks different to me." He commented, though he was only able to pay half attention to the people and the conversation, only taking a quick look at their faces as well.
Dimitri stood up. "I really would love to stay and have a conversation with y'all, but I'm in kinda a rush." Dimitri said, his eyes now began scanning the crowds. He took a deep breath, calming himself down. Everything was just fine. "Have a nice day and evenin', you two." Dimitri said, now beginning to stand. Everything was working out, until his first step forward. He suddenly felt a cold, scaly hand on the back of his neck. On instinct, Dimitri immediately tensed at being touched by something unknown, let alone something that clearly shouldn't be touching him.
He immediately attempted to bob forward, but the hand gripped him before he could do anything. "Christ!" He blurted out in a sudden fear, though he strictly remembered his lessons. He didn't submit, he began resisting the grip, loosening it in any way he could.
"Well, if it issssssn't a group of tassssssty demigodssss." The snake woman said, Dimitri in a million years wouldn't have guessed it to be a dracaena. The second he heard her voice, he struggled harder. And as he heard her hiss the letter "s" e struggled hard enough for her to let go of her grip. Whether he fought out of it or she wanted to fool with him, he didn't know. He quickly, slid down and regained his balance, only turning to face her when he made some distance between them.
