The Forest is a Strange Place

The forest was one of the few places Ryan could find peace and quiet. Not that he minded the other campers, he had plenty of friends. But some days it was nice just to be able to walk around in silence. The forests always reminded him of home back in Utah. Hiking with his family through Green Canyon back in Logan was sort of like walking through the camps forest. He wore his sleeveless camp shirt, with his Nike shoes and shorts. It was starting to get hot again.

Ryan trudged along, being careful where he stepped. Break on branch and you could have a dryad as an enemy. The forest seemed full of life. Ryan heard the birds singing, some bees buzzing and the occasional monster roar. Just another peaceful day in the forest.
