i take a deep breath and let it out slowly. i start to communicate with Daph, Daunian, Nuanio, and Phaunio. first i tell Daph that the next time hes in a fight, i would stop him from doing anything directly. next to Naunio i tell him not to show off when kenzie's around. at this i got a bit of dissent, but he obliged. with Phaunio i couldnt really say anything because i didnt know him. with the last one Daunian was a bit mad for not telling him about the leg. i asked him to tell me what types of songs kenzie likes listening to. i then concentrate on not feeling the pain
"yes its me, but dont talk to me. i need to become warm and then i will tell you anything you wish to know, anything that has to deal with the present times.nothing past. even if its just days" i tell them

"ok from the beginning. i gave Haley a ring. when she switched sides she gave it back. a while at the beach and some girl came up to me and said hi. me, being stupid, had shook her hand, but i did so with the same hand that i put the ring on. after that i noticed that she had stolen my ring. a while of arguing and promises with said theif i got the ring back. but im still angry with her. shes not getting my trust unless i see her do something really good." at the beginning of the short story i had taken out my amethyst gem. i was looking into it with saddened eyes the whole time.
"wow, thats gotta be a rough turn of events. but look" i put my hand on his shoulder "i dont think i couldve turned out any other way" bad words to say at a time like this
i glared at Darrian when he put his hand on my shoulder. i pushed it off. "i know, but that doesnt mean i cant wish that it couldve turned out differently" at the end of the sentence i went back to staring at the amethyst
