Exy sat in the tree a few feet from the edge of the forest and drank straight from a bottle of Captain Morgan. He was sick of camp and wanted out, or a girlfriend, he couldn't tell which right now. The brit was no where near drunk or tipsy but he WAS glad he finally had a much needed drink. Taking another swig and fixing his hat the son of Hermes smiled as he looked out to the other campers. No rules, no adults, no responsibility. That's all he could ask for and that's all he had right now.

Ugh, the woods. Rani did not like the forest one bit. It wasn't all the trees or the animals. She didn't mind it, she really likes those things. It's just that whenever she has to go into the woods she ends up getting lost and Rani hates getting lost. And once again, she's lost and really annoyed. The bugs were attacking her thanks to her sweet smelling perfume and she did not like that. Why was she in the woods? Some animal had snuck into her bunk and took her leather jacket with it. Now she was looking for it.

Exy heard someone walking through the woods and stood on the tree branch. There was no way he was going to get caught drinking again and taken to Chiron. Mr.D probably wouldn't care all that much if he was drinking but still, he was cautious all the same. Hopping down from his perch he walked towards the sound and came upon a girl.Well then. What a surprise. He smirked with his british accent. Holding out the bottle to her he offered her a drink. If you want some that is luv.

A heart attack. That's what Rani almost had when she heard a voice from behind her. The daughter of Ares nearly whipped out her pocket knife when she turned around, a clearly pissed off look on her face. "Bastardo! Mi hai quasi spaventato a morte! Coglione!" She fired off as many insults and curse words in Italian for about a minute before she managed to calm down the slightest. Oh no, she was still pretty mad that some ordinary guy managed to scare her witless. She's an Ares girl, she should be doing the scaring. "What do you want? Here to just scare me?"

Exy looked at the girl in both confusion and sort of shock. He had seen her in the Ares cabin so he knew who her father was, so how in the hell did he scare her? Oh well, bonus points for grabbing to his siblings.Fine don't take the drink. He said taking another swig and looking at the girl. And I'm here because unlike you and your siblings from the look of it, i have a cabin that is bursting to the seams with kids who can't calm down. He said giving her a 'sorry-not-sorry' look and taking another drink.

The pissed off look on Rani's face grew as the boy kept on speaking. "Well, sorry if you Hermes kids can't seem to stop multiplying." Her eyes narrowed as she stared at the bottle. Captain Morgan. Some type of rum. Rani never had it but her mother used to serve it at the nightclub. "And I'll take you up on the drink." She snatched the drink from the guy's hands, taking a giant swing of the rum. Not bad but not good either. She handed the bottle back to the guy.

Exy chuckled when he saw that he was starting to annoy the girl in front of him and wasn't surprised that she only took one swig of the rum before handing it back. Not for everyone. He admitted, taking a few gulps and capping it again. The forest was calm that night and concerning in a way. Typically when a place was quiet it meant trouble but in this case Exy brushed the thought away knowing if they needed help other campers would be able to help them.So who are you anyways? Here we are drinking and partially talking yet we know little to nothing about one another. He laughed looking back at the girl.

"Are you sure you wanna know anything about me?" Rani gave the boy a once over. He wasn't exactly ugly, nor would she call him handsome. His eyes were slightly lighter than hers and they held a flirty and carefree look in them. He's a Hermes boy no doubt. She pursed her lips as she looked him over. Knowing his name wouldn't hurt and who cares if he knows hers? "The name's Rani. Rani Romano. What's yours?"

Exy. Exy Kingsman. I can assume you know my father. but who's your godparent? And I think it's safe to say if I didn't want to know you I would have left already. He asked setting the drink down next to him and leaning against a tree with his hands casually in his pockets. If the son of Hermes was going to at least attempt to make friends who weren't stoners and completely crazy he had to start trying to be nicer to others, more friendly than flirty. After all, he and Maddy weren't seeing each other at the moment so he needed friends to occupy his time.

"Isn't it obvious?" Rani quirked an eyebrow as she went to go lean on the tree by the boy-no, his name is Exy. "The swearing? The angry tempers? Aren't those the normal signs of an Ares child?" The smirk was extremely noticeable on her face. Rani wasn't sure if she liked this guy or not. He was.....interesting, to say the least.

Exy laughed a little. Have you met me and my siblings? We are a slue of random and cursing and anger sometimes. He said his hands now in his pockets and a smirk of his own growing on his face.

"Are you saying that Hermes kids are worse than Ares kids?" Rani couldn't help the curiosity that was bubbling in her stomach. This boy was intriguing her more and more. Maybe she should keep him around, just until she gets bored of him. Oh my, she sounded like her mother right there. "Cause I can assure you, Mr. Kingsman, that I could change your mind otherwise."

Exy shrugged. Everyone's idea of worse is different. In the aspect of me never having siblings then going to having an insane number of them yes, they're worse for me. For you it could be different. He explained as the sound of Lancelot's wings were at his ears and the bird landed next to his head on a branch, looking at Rani. He was no doubt judging her and making his own personal notes in regards to what kind of a person was but the song of Hermes ignored any thoughts that came through the telepathy, he wanted to figure Rani out for himself.

The owl was beautiful, flying gracefully on the branch above Exy. Rani stared at it in curiosity, a small smile dancing on her lips. Animals are very rare to Rani, for she was never allowed a pet as a child. This owl was cute and it seemed to like Exy. "Is he yours?" She asked Exy, nodding to the owl.

Exy looked at his hawk and chuckled.Only partially. He's not a pet but he is a friend I've had for a long time. The demigod said as he brushed his forefinger on the birds chest and smiled when he let out his small screech. Lancelot took off and landed on Exy's shoulder but looked at Rani.Rani, I would like you to meet Lancelot. Lancelot, this is Rani. He said going through the gestures of introduction. she seems like someone who could keep you in shape better than I can. The bird said through telepathy to the demigod. Exy frowned and hit his talons lightly only to wince as Lancelot dug them ever so slightly into his shoulder. Yeah, this is the arse who tries to father me. Exy said through gritted teeth as Lancelot let go of his grip and sat perfectly on his shoulder.

Rani chuckled as the owl flew. What could she say? This owl was funny and deadly. Kinda like her mother. "He seems to be a pain in the are." Rani commented with a sly smirk. If only she had someone like that owl, maybe then she wouldn't be as foul-tempered and foul-mouthed. Oh, what is she kidding, she would probably be just the same.

Believe me he is. And here I thought Hawks were supposed to be all cool and helpful. The son of Hermes said as Lancelot flew back to his perch on the tree branch. He may have been an arse to Exy but he did it out of love and the demigod knew that. Taking another large swig of his rum Exy finally started feeling a little something from the drink. You know that point where you can tell that if you take another drink you're gonna end up drink? I kinda like this feeling. He smirked.

"Do you mean that you know that you're going to be drunk? I don't know. I've never been drunk before. I normally stop around then." Rani admitted honestly. Getting drunk and doing irresponsible things aren't exactly good for her reputation. If anything, it'd be a disgrace for her to drink more than 3 glasses of wine. However, the offer was extremely tempting.

Oh come on, it's fun. And depending on what you use you may be a different drunk than say with wine or something. Exy said as he held out the bottle for Rani. He was curious as to if she would take the mini adventure he was offering but all the same he was done drinking for the night.

Rani eyes the bottle with suspicion and interest. If her mother seen her now, she would probably have a heart attack. Here she was, with a boy she barely met, and he was offering her a chance to get drunk. She should have taken his offer up already but the thing was: she doesn't know him that well. Who was to say that he wasn't going to try anything if she does get drunk? "Who's to say I can trust if I do get drunk?"

Exy smirked a little to himself. You don't have to get completely drink. I suggest just enough to have a good time. He said as he began petting Lencelot's chest feathers with the back of one of his fingers.

Rani just snatched the bottle and downed it soon after, feeling it slowly take effect. Damn, was he right. Alcohol can make a time great. "I think I'm going to take you up on that offer."

Exy let out a hearty laugh before giving a mock salute.Told you so. He said again as he rummaged in a hollow bit of the tree next to him and pulled out a bottle of Bacardi, tossing it to her. Here. If you want some real fun try this. He knew that wither that or Patron would have her on her @ss seeing as she seemed to be a light weight in comparison to him.

Rani grasped the other bottle, handing the first to Exy. Downing the new bottle, she smirked. Now that tasted a lot better than whatever he had first given her. "I think you were holding back on me before."

Exy chuckled and drank the last bit of Rum before putting it in the tree as he watched Rani start downing the Bacardi. Damn, she wan't a light weight after all. Smiling internally he watched as she drank and talked about him holding out on her. No joke I thought you were a light weight. He said shrugging.
