The son of Nike tilted his face some into Jackson's hand. It felt nice. "I guess you're right about that." Lorne smirked and walked a bit closer to him. "But you obviously have more experience when it comes to being in a gay relationship, so I'll have to follow your lead, huh?" Lorne pecked his lips. "Gods, I can't stop kissing you."

Jackson laughed a little. "That's a great place to start." Jackson leaned in and kissed Lorne lightly and quickly. His stomach did a little fit. It had been doing that a lot that day. It, honestly, made him kind of nervous. Jacks was really good about keeping his emotions in check and not getting very invested in things like this, but it wasn't working right now.

The son of Nike grinned softly and playfully bit Jackson's bottom lip. He gave it a tug before letting go. "I know right?" Lorne exhaled sharply and brushed his fingertips against Jackson's chest. He studied every detail before turning his focus up to his face. "...How old are you?"

Jackson scratched his back, quickly. "17. Almost 18." Jackson answered. It was kind of weird that this was stuff that him and Lorne hadn't talked about this stuff. "We should really get to know each other." Jackson said, placing his hands on Lorne's upper arms.

Lorne nodded his head once. "I'm sixteen." He answered, then continued after a brief amount of time. "You're right, we should." Lorne took in a deep breath and moved his hands from Jackson's hips and to the sides of his own body. The son of Nike smirked. "I already know how much a nerd you are already so at least I don't have to deal with that."

Jackson dropped his hands to his side. Every nerve in his body was trying to pull him back to Lorne, to touch him to kiss him, but he knew that they couldn't survive like that. Jackson took Lorne's hand lightly and innocently, leading them back to the shore and then to the grass. Jackson laid down on the ground, pulling Lorne down with him.

Lorne laid with the side of his head resting on Jackson's chest while his hand draped over his belly button. "...Shouldn't this be the other way around? I mean, shouldn't the more masculine man be...y'know, the one doing the holding?" Lorne's eyes looked up at Jackson's face. "Not saying that you're not masculine or anything. I'm just curious."

Jackson scrunched his nose. "It... It doesn't work like that. Not necessarily. The whole point of being a guy dating a guy is that you're both dudes. You have to throw out what you know about 'how relationships should be.' It's way more fun when you get to both be 'the guy'." Jackson said with a small smile.

Jackson looked up at the sky. "Um... I can't stand people who aren't driven or ambitious. Oh, and bad breath." Jackson couldn't tell how serious of an answer Lorne was looking for so he decided to take it both ways. "What about you?" Jackson added on to the end of what he had said.

The son of Nike nodded his head. "That makes sense. For me, a turn off is...lying, i guess. I've never been out in a situation where I had to deal with someone being too weird. Except for that one Hecate girl. She was weird, but in a good way." Lorne bit his lip. "Oh! And a flat butt. Flat butts are a turn off for me. I know that sounds horrible, but it's true."

Jackson laughed. "Good thing to know that's not me." Jackson looked at the clouds rolling by in the sky. "What's your favorite place in the world?" Jackson liked to know big things about people, deep things. This was one of his favorite things to ask because he felt like it revealed a lot about someone.

Jackson smiled and put his arm underneath his head. "When I lived in England, we lived in a small parish of Essex called Clavering. In Clavering, we had these ruins of an old castle and it's not really something you're supposed to roam alone but I did a lot as a kid. I used to dream of what it would be like to be a lord and to fight battles on the grounds. I want to own the property one day. Maybe work with some historians and architects to restore it."

Jackson rolled over so that he could cuddle up against Lorne, his head on his chest. "I mean, if we lived at the time that the castle was in use, this would be enough to get us hung. That's why, as much as I love the castle and the idea of lords and knights, I would never want to live then. I'd rather be here." Jackson said, wrapping his arm around Lorne. "Oh, and disease."

Jackson looked up at Lorne. "I... I don't know anything about Game of Thrones." Jackson was really bad at admitting when he didn't know things, especially popular culture things. He was kind of proud of himself for doing it, to be honest, but he couldn't lie to Lorne and he definitely didn't want to make a fool out of himself.

Lorne stared at him a bit before shrugging. "Never mind then." The son of Nike shifted his weight and slowly slid his hand down further. He closed his eyes and tried to stop his heart from trying to beat out of his chest. "Are you comfortable?"

Jackson sighed, there it was again. He'd never be an Ares kid, would he? "Why do you say that?" Jackson asked, his British accent strong. Jackson continued to tap on Lorne's torso and tried to control his breathing. He was just feeling a lot of emotions and it was hard to keep them under control.

Lorne felt a little guilty about telling Jackson on several different occasions that he didn't act like an Ares' kid. "You're not a poser. You're just different than the rest of us who are...basically extensions of our parents. You're like...Piper. She's isn't a Barbie doll. I mean, she's hot, but she isn't into makeup or clothes." He gave him a light squeeze and pecked his neck. "You're perfectly fine, Jacks. Just the way you are."
