It was on of his many, many flaws. "And what do you mean by that? We as in love demigods or...?" François raised an eyebrow and tilted his head to the side. "Talk to me, big guy."

    Jase really didn't understand Francois. He didn't think that he would care, but he did. "Yeah, yeah. Us as love demigods." Jase clarified. Jase looked down at Francois and then took a step back. "That's all I meant. Obviously." Jase lied. He had always been a good liar. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and do my thing."

    Françios watched the change in Jase's demeanor and knitted his eyebrows in concern. He didn't know what had gotten into him. "What's wrong?" The son of Eros let his hands fall to his sides and continued to look at Jason.

    Jase groaned. "Nothing is wrong. Now, stop asking before I break that face of yours." Jase dug his hand into his pocket and pulled a cigarette out of the box. He knew he couldn't risk lighting it here. "I'm gonna go... yeah." Jase said, waving his cigarette. Jase walked off into the woods.

    Once Jase got into the woods, he found a clearing and quickly shoved the cigarette back in his pocket. Jase started to do the only thing that really kept him calm these days: gymnastics.

    The son of Eros raised his eyebrows and followed Jase into the woods with him knowing. François stood behind the tree as he watched Jase work. A small smile came across his face and let out a light chuckle.

    Jase heard a laugh after he landed one of his tricks. Jase immediately snapped his head round to the noise. He made out the shape of Francois on in the trees. "Dude... What the..." Jase yelled out at him. He instantly pulled the cigarette back out of his pocket and immediately lit it, putting it into his mouth.

    François walked out from behind the tree and walked toward Jase slowly. "Hey, you left in a rush and I wanted to check up on my favorite son of Aphrodite." He giggled and stopped when he was just a few inches away from him. "I didn't know you were that flexible."

    "Will you stop laughing at me? It's really not helping." Jase rolled his eyes. "Yeah, there's a reason people don't know it." Jase said, exhaling cigarette smoke in Francois' direction. Jase walked away from Francois and made his way across the clearing.

    Jase sighed. "Someone who looks like this, and talks like this, and acts like this, and smokes cigarettes, and is a player, doesn't do gymnastics. It's just not what is expected of me." Jase said, taking a long drag from his cigarette, trying to keep his emotions under control. He had to stay cool, collected.

    Jase groaned and put his cigarette out on a rock. "I started when I was 3, but I quit formal lessons when my mom died when I was 11. I've been doing it on the side by myself ever sense." Jase absolutely loved gymnastics, but he doubted he would ever say that out loud. It was so calming and he felt his strongest when he was doing it.

    Jase sighed and rubbed his thumb and middle finger along his eyebrows. "I was on route to being one of the best in the country. They thought I was Olympics bound. Jason Waters, Olympian. Then, when I was at the top, I just quit." Jase said, looking down. "I never really stopped learning, I guess. I may still be one of the best, I don't know."

    Jase shrugged. "I don't know if I'm honestly better than them, but it'd kind of be nice to know, y'know?" Jase said, rubbing his hands together lightly and scratching his arms. "Would you like to see anything?" Jase didn't really see a point in not doing his thing in front of Francois now. He already knew, and if he was going to ruin his reputation, he could do it already.

    Jase took a deep breath and walked a few feet from Francois and took a deep breath. Jase had been working for a while on a new floor routine for the last few months, and it was finally starting to come together. When Jase had first come to camp, he had been absolutely abysmal at doing gymnastics on grass, but all his time alone in the woods had gotten him good at it. He was even better on solid ground from this, which had learned from late nights of sneaking into the arena. Jase took a deep breath and started his routine.

    Jase smiled when Francois cheered for him. It reminded him of when his twin sister, Whitney, would cheer for him. He missed having Whitney around at camp. Jase landed the end of his routine. It wasn't the end, but it was as far as he had planned. Jase wiped his arm across his forehead as he walked back over to Francois. "It's not done, but it's getting there."

    Jase shook his head. "Dude, you gotta stop saying stuff like that." Jase wasn't offended or disgusted when Francois said things like that, but it was just starting to get a little weird. Jase sat down on the ground and fixed the laces on his shoes, retying them so they didn't fall off if he did anymore tricks.
