Jase shrugged his shoulders. "Uh, I might. I know I brought it with me, but I don't know how much I've grown since freshmen year." Jase said with a slight smile. "I can dig it out and see if you like, though. I have to admit that I look pretty hot in it. It might be too much to handle." Jase teased, bumping Vi a bit with his hip. The son of Aphrodite was finally feeling calm and more in control than before, and it was showing through. He was walking confidentially and was practically glowing.

"What about you? Do you have much with you from home?" Jase asked. In a way, he could tell that something was up with her past, but he had no clue what. The son of Aphrodite wasn't great at figuring stuff out about other people, but he wanted to know more about Vi. He was afraid to just straight out ask her, though.

Vi started to get a little excited as he started to mention that he had brought it with him. Even more so when he said he could dig it out if she had liked and made a comment about being hot in it, and she laughed a little. "Well, I'd definitely be more than okay if you weren't able to button up the shirt." The daughter of Enyo said with a wink thrown his way. Although, it was more than just a joke, she really wouldn't mind at all if the shirt wasn't able to be buttoned up. "Trust me though, I'm sure I could handle it."

Then of course it was her turn to answer his question. He was asking about if she had much with her from home. Vi grew silent for a little bit as they continued to walk. She could feel her emotions she kept tightly locked up slowly unraveling before her. She took in a deep breath and released it. "No. I don't." Vi said softly and at this point she stopped and looked up at him. She could feel the tears start to well up in her eyes. "I'm a horrible person, Jase. If I told you what I did, you'd probably dislike me."

Jase smiled slyly at the daughter of Enyo. "You would like that, wouldn't you?" Jase teased. It was nice that Jase was able to be himself around Vi. He was so used to trying to form himself to what other people expected of him. Jase slipped his hand from hers and slipped his arm around her shoulder with a smile, pulling her closer to him.

Jase's eyebrows turned in as Vi talked about her past. He didn't really understand what she was talking about, but he understood the sentiment. "I don't think that is true. I've been an awful person, too, Vi. I would say that I still am in a way, to be honest. I don't think I wouldn't like you." Jase wanted to leave a lot of him in his past. The son of Aphrodite had a lot of demons back there.

"I would." The daughter of Enyo said in a teasing tone. She was glad to notice that Jase had been easing up a bit and it felt like he was being more of himself at this point. Which made her heart rate gradually normalize. Soon his hand slipped from hers and his arm wrapped around her shoulders and felt the pull as she came into contact.

Vi appreciated his response and she was happy that he didn't ask her about it. It was refreshing not to be put in that spot of deciding to answer or decline and look like a jerk. Despite that she still couldn't help her mouth from opening and the words just falling out, "I treated my own father like crap. He was nothing but nice to me. When we couldn't afford to pay heat, he made sure I was warm and he stayed cold throughout the night. What did I do? I rebelled against him, I disowned him. All because I thought I was right. Did it because he forbid me to see someone who just ended up hurting me. Even after everything, I could have gone back to him, but I didn't, I just ran away. I haven't seen him in years." She said softly with tears rolling down her face at this point. This was the first time in quite a long time that she had been this vulnerable.

Jase stopped walking as Vi explained her past. Jase turned to her and watched her eyes intently as she talked. When she was done, Jase took his thumbs and wiped the tears off of her cheeks and then placed his hands on her shoulders. He then leaned in and pressed his lips lightly on her forehead, and then the lips. "We all make mistakes, Vi. In the end, I think what matters is what you do to change them." Jase said softly.

Jase looked Vi up and down, his hands lowering down to his size. "I'm just a jerk. Ever... Ever since my Dad died, it's just been hard to be a good person. I would get in fights all the time. Drink, smoke, y'know. I'm still struggling with that one a little bit." Jase said, looking down at his bare feet.

As soon as she was done speaking she felt his thumbs touch her face, wiping off her tears that had streamed down her face. She could then feel his lips press against her forehead and then her own lips. He was very gentle in this moment and Vi could really see who he was. What he said got to her though. She had done nothing to change the fact she was rude to her father, she did nothing to ever try to contact him again. What if he didn't even want to see her anymore. Vi wasn't scared of much in life, but she was scared of seeing her father again.

It wasn't long before his hands had moved back down to his side and he began to tell her some of the things he had did. She moved in closer to him and her hand reached up and tilted his head up slightly so she could kiss him softly. "I'm sorry for your loss. If there's anything I can do to help you at any time, please let me know." Vi spoke as her arms wrapped around him.

Jase placed his hand on top of Vi's and tilted his head down to kiss her again. Jase was so thankful that what he said hadn't made her apprehensive of him. Just having her there with him like this was so helpful for him. He had been hoping for someone as absolutely amazing as her to be by his side. Someone who didn't judge him for who he had him, and could help him become a better person. He wasn't going to tell her that, though. That would be embarrassing.

Jase pulled his lips away from Vi's and smiled at her, wiping a small trace of her tears from her face. Jase placed his arm around her shoulders again, pulling her into him and starting to walk down the beach again. The cold water splashed against his feet as he walked. "What a beautiful night."

Feeling his hand on top of hers was soothing in this time of vulnerability. It truly was a good feeling to be able to lift that weight off of herself and be able to not have someone judge her for it and back away from her. Her fear was always that she had become the monster. When she was with Jase in this moment though, she didn't feel like the monster.

After he pulled his lips away from hers, he wiped the remainder of her tears and then proceeded to wrap his arm around her shoulders pulling her in closer. At this point she could feel the water wash over her feet too and it was cool and calming. "It is a beautiful night. Wont be so beautiful if we get caught out here though." She said with a small laugh.

Jase chuckled a little bit. "I was trying not to think about it, honestly. I don't want tonight to ever end." Jase said, pushing his free hand back through his hair. "How much trouble can we really get into anyway?' Jase said with a small laugh. He knew the answer to that, though. A lot. Camp Half Blood was the perfect place for aggressively rigorous workouts for punishment. Jase could handle it, but that didn't mean that he wanted to handle it.

"I can't wait until Friday. That's why I don't want tonight to end." Jase had absolutely no idea what time it was, and he had no intentions of looking. The longer he didn't know, the longer they could stay here. He did know, though, that eventually the sun would come up and they would have to go back to their regular lives.

The daughter of Enyo would agree with him. She didn't want tonight to end, because she knew when it did she'd have to go back to her cabin and then go back to how she usually was. She had to go back to being on guard and she had to continue to live her life the way she had before. She knew she could do it for a day until she saw him again, but she didn't really want to. "Well the plan is to not get caught and we don't have to find out."

As the two of them continued to walk he mentioned that he couldn't wait until Friday and she smiled. She was happy to hear that he was looking forward to it just as much as she had been. "We can always agree to meet up for lunch tomorrow, so it doesn't feel so torturous not having me around." Vi said teasing and laughed a little bit. "I am serious though, if you wanted to see each other at lunch tomorrow we could. But don't think I plan on cutting tonight short."

"So, for this picnic did you happen to bring anything for dessert?"

Jase pulled Vi in tighter. "Then we won't get caught. Do you think we can make it till sunrise?" Jase said, looking at the water. This was the absolute last thing he would have expected to be doing tonight, but there was no where he would rather be. "Yeah. I may have more desserts than anything." Jase looked over a Vi with a sly and mischievous smile on his face. Jase pulled his arm off of Vi's shoulders and started running down the beach. He ran along the hard packed wet sand and did a round off into a few back hand springs and, to show off, ending with a full twisting backflip. Jase landed and his feet dug into the sand, a wide smile on his face.

Jase started to walk back to Vi, the smile on his face not cracking. "I'm sorry. You just give me a lot of excited energy." When he reached her, Jase placed one hand on the left side of her face and the other on the right side of her neck. Jase bent his head down and kissed Vi. The move was very Aphrodite kid of him.

Vi could feel herself being pulled in tighter and she liked the feeling of being wanted and being held close. She nodded in reply to him asking if she thought they could make it until sunrise. Vi was determined to see the rise and hear the birds start chirping again. It was the small things in life. Vi got a little excited when he mentioned he probably had more desserts than anything, but she noticed the sly look on her face, and she was trying to figure out what was going on in his head. Until he removed his arm and began to run.

Vi watched as he began to do a bunch of flips and twists and whatever the terminology was for gymnastic things that he was doing. The daughter of Enyo smiled as he came walking back over. Honestly? She was impressed. She knew she wouldn't be able to do any of what he had just done. It wasn't long before he found his way back over to her, and kissed her. Her hands moved up to rest on his and she smiled up at him. "I'm glad to hear that." She said with a little laugh, and then spoke up again, "I'd sing for you if I was able to sneak back into my cabin and grab my guitar."

When Jase pulled his head back from Vi's he took his right hand from the side of her face and rubbed his lower lip with his thumb lightly. The son of Aphrodite was feeling the confidence flow throw him, almost like it was flowing through his veins. Well, it kind of did, he guessed. Jase loved the feeling. It was one of the best feelings that he could feel ever.

"Do you think we could sneak into the music room? I want to hear how beautiful your voice is." Jase said low and sweetly, tracing her neck with his thumb, since his hand was placed on her neck still. Jase was already a tad bit obsessed with the daughter of Enyo.

The daughter of Enyo was content in that moment. Everything about being there with Jase made everything in life feel easy. She could feel her heart beat quicken again as she was getting caught up in the moment.

It wasn't long before he asked if they could sneak into the music room, so he could hear her sing. All the while he was tracing her neck with his thumb which set off her nerves in a good way. She gave him a quick on the lips before a sly smile came onto her face. "Well, we're already breaking a rule, what's one more?"

Jase smiled back at Vi and turned them around, slipping his hand in hers, starting their way back to their stuff. Now, Vi was on the side of the water and he was on the beach side. Jase picked up the pace a bit so that they could get back to their stuff quicker. "Do you think that it'll be locked or what?" Jase asked. As much as he didn't always follow the rules, he very rarely went out of his way to full on break them. The adrenaline was amazing, actually.

Jase made his way back up the beach, hand in hand with Vi. Once they reached the stuff, Jase let go of her hand and pulled his shoes back on his feet. Jase looked around and stashed the picnic basket in some foliage. "I don't want to carry it." Jase laughed, pushing his hand back through his hair.

It wasn't long before the two of them were walking back towards their stuff on the other side of the beach. Hand in hand, Vi was now on the side with the water as they continued to do a more fast paced walk and in minutes they were back by their stuff. While Jase worked on hiding the basket, Vi slipped her shoes back on.

"Well if it's locked, I'm fairly sure I could pick the lock with ease. Hopefully it's not though." Vi said with a sly grin as she grabbed his hand and they began to walk over towards where the music room was. It didn't take long before they got there and she tried turning the door knob. To her surprise the door had been yet to be locked and she walked in.

Jase let out a relieved sigh when the door was unlocked when the got there. "We can definitely get in trouble for breaking and entering, but can we get in trouble for just entering?" Jase said with a small laugh as he followed Vi into the dark music room. Jase didn't want to risk turning the light on. That would make it too easy for them to get caught. Anyway, the moon was bright through the many windows of the room.

Jase made his way with Vi to the corner of the room with all of the musical instruments. Jase sat down on the soft tan couch by all of the instruments and placed his arm on the back of the couch. Jase was really excited to watch Vi sing. He had always found musicians so attractive.

Vi laughed a little as he mentioned that they could get in a lot of trouble if they were caught breaking and entering. She shrugged her shoulders. "It's not like we're doing anything bad. Just out passed curfew." The demigod said as she began to walk towards all the instruments were. The moon light was pouring in through the windows, which gave a wave of calmness into the room.

After she searched around a bit she found a guitar that was similar to hers and she started to strum a few different tunes to make sure the guitar was tuned right. She played around with it for a little bit before she was content with the sound she was hearing. Vi sat on a stool in front of the couch. "Alright, I'm letting you pick the song. You name it and I'll play it."

"I can pick any song?" Jase asked. Jase rubbed his thumb across his lip, trying to pick a song to suggest. Jase had a secret love of popular music and he was debating whether or not he was going to show that to Vi. He didn't want to keep things from her. This was an easy one to give up. "This Town by Niall Horan, possibly?" Jase suggested. It was a cute song.

Jase shifted his position on the couch, pulling his legs up cross legged so that he could face Vi better on her stool. The couch was in the center of the room, so Jase could see out of the window behind Vi. The moonlight poured in behind her and framed her perfectly. Jase didn't even want to blink. He just wanted to stare at her.

When Jase clarified if he could pick any song, she nodded her head in response and watched him think. It was interesting to see the different expressions that crossed his face as he was coming to a decision. It was only a few moments longer when he suggested a song and she smiled. "I can do that." Vivienne said as she quickly re-positioned herself into a more comfortable sitting position.

She had to take a couple moments to get the tune in her head, but once she did and started to get the tempo in her head she began to play the little intro before coming in with the vocals. Her voice was soft and carried the notes over gracefully. At least Vi had played the song before a few times, and wasn't a stranger to it. If she was honest, she listened to it a bit more than she'd like to admit.

Every muscle in the son of Aphrodite de-tensed as Vi started singing for him. Jase tilted his head to rest on the back of the couch as he watched the daughter of Enyo sing and play. It also helped that Jase loved the song. It sounded so nice with Vi's voice. Jase could sit there forever and watch the moon showered beauty sing.

When Vi reached the last chorus, Jase decided to take a risk. He'd always been told that he had an amazing voice, but he had never really known for sure. I guess there was no better time to find out. Jase joined in for the final chorus, harmonizing to Vi's voice.

Vivienne was calm and felt relaxed sitting on the stool in front of Jase. She couldn't help, but smile when she was singing and playing the chords in a certain way. The daughter of Enyo enjoyed seeing him relax a bit and she could tell he seemed to like her playing and singing. When she got to the last chorus, she could hear him join in and harmonize with her, which only made her smile grow.

When the song ended, she just looked at the son of Aphrodite for a moment. She had a feeling sitting in her chest and she couldn't quite place it, but she was getting giddy at this point. She set the guitar down and stood up and walked over to sit next to Jase on the couch. "I was a little surprised there, but it was a good surprise. You have a good voice."

Jase's face turned a deep shade of red when Vi told him that she was surprised by him singing. That didn't necessarily sound like a good thing. He let out a relieved sigh when she said that he sounded good. "You're absolutely amazing." Jase said with a sweet and genuine smile. Jase leaned forward and kissed the tip of Vi's nose lightly.

Jase looked over his shoulder and then back at Vi. He knew that he was being paranoid, but he couldn't risk getting in trouble again. Spending time with Vi made the risk worth it, though. Jase turned his body so that he was looking at Vi. "You are so unbelievably talented. Like wow." Jase said with a small, almost nervous, laugh.

Vi had seen the son of Aphrodite's face turn to a deep shade of red and she grinned a bit. She hadn't really seen him blush too much yet; so far she wasn't disappointed. When he mentioned that she was absolutely amazing a light shade of pink had shown up on her cheeks. She wasn't going to be modest about it, but she hadn't heard compliments in awhile.

The daughter of Enyo noticed that Jase seemed a little paranoid, but soon his body turned back to look at her. "You're very talented yourself." Vi said with a smile. It was true though. Jase didn't beat her in a match due to a fluke, he had skill with a sword, but he was also very talented with gymnastics, and picking out a whole buffet for dinner. Vivienne's hand reached out to find his and she intertwined her fingers with his."If you're worried we're going to get caught, we can always go back to the beach. I remember you saying you picked out a lot of desserts." She said with a small grin now forming on her face.

Jase smiled and laughed a little bit. "If you want to go back and get some dessert we can. But first." Jase winked at the daughter of Enyo and placed one hand on the side of her neck just below her ear, and the other went onto her lower back, pulling her close to him. Jase smiled at her, pushing a little of her hair back with the hand on her neck, and then pressed his lips against hers.

Jase felt the fire again, spreading from where he was toughing her. It was like electricity was connecting both of his hands to his lips and to each other, and lighting his whole body up. Jase smiled against Vi's lips and leaned back against the arm of the couch and held Vi tightly as he kissed her.
