I gave david a look then turned to the demigod with my bridie. "Thank you," i said. People probably couldnt tell i was annoyed, i looked emotionless most of the time. I picked her up, and she spread her wings, cawing. I stroked her feathers, and she flew up to my shoulder like a parrot.
