by I come in and sit down on an empty bunk. What a day I think to myself. Sitting on the bed, my shuffling ipod starts playing "Clocks" by Colplay. I turn down the volume, lay down and close my eyes.

I walk in carrying her.
Ker carried me into my Cabin and set me on my bunk. I was tired, but smiled at him.
I see her smile. I brush her hair with my hand. She looks happy.
I closed my eyes as he brushed my hair and I drifted off to sleep.

I sat down on my bunk.
I walked in and sat next to Liane. "So what's up with Jace these days?"
"You don't get it, do you?" I said, looking at him. "You need to leave her alone."
"Why?" I replied. I really don't get girls.
I shook my head. Why do guys have to be so dense? "Do you not see how unhappy you make her?"
"She always seems to hate me," I said sadly.
"Yeah kinda," I said, not wanting to make eye-contact. He really doesn't see it.
She doesn't like me.... Now I feel like an idiot.

"You guys all know it's true!" Me face was in my hands. I felt heat in my eyes and had a salty taste in my mouth. Great. I was crying in front of two girls.

"I knew the Marcus we all love was in there!" I playfully punched his arm. "Well I've gotta go, so I will see you all 'round!" I gave Marcus another playful punch just to remind him to suck it up and be good, then I walked out of the cabin to find Anders.

I walked in, tired from the day. I lay on my bed and closed my eyes. A song I had never heard before was playing in my head. I could hear individual instruments playing their parts. Every note was correct and all the rhythms were perfect. My body moved slightly to the rise and fall of every dynamic. It was a beautiful song that pulled at my emotions and tugged at my soul. It ended softly with a note that seemed to last forever. I smiled to myself. What a beautiful piece I had just composed. It was a shame that no one else would hear it. I quietly fell asleep.

Ker smiled, but didn't actually leave until she was asleep. He rubbed her hair out of her eyes.
