I walk in curiously. I see a hispanic girl. "Hi! I'm Isabella Downey. Call me Sabe!" I say nicely.

I looked back at the mirror. In it, I saw the reflection of the girl whom I assumed the voice belonged to. She had black hair and the most captivating purple eyes. Silently I wondered if maybe she wore contacts. They looked so real though... I blinked. Was that?! I let out a small gasp. no. I grabbed my second brush and a pair of scissors. Quickly, I turned around to face her. "Hi! I'm Gabrielle. Everyone calls me Elle though." I continued to advance on her, my second brush in one hand, the pair of scissors in another.

I smiled sweetly up at her. Before she got another word out, I had already used my awesome make over skills, exterminating all those ungainly split ends and brushing her hair in just the right places to make her look totally incredible--although admittedly not as incredibly beautiful as me, but hey, good enough, right? I beamed. She blinked.

"What did you do to my hair?" I looked at the mirror. Nothing seemed to changed. I looked at her and raised my eyebrow.

Shocked, I did a double take. "What did I do?!" I beamed. "Oh. Well, I only annihilated all those preposterous split ends and made you look great! Well... as great as you can beside me anyway." I smiled at her. I hope she didn't take it the wrong way, but I was just being honest about how amazingly beautiful I was.

I could see the thoughts running through her head. Yup. That's what everyone thought... Apparently, that was how she thought. I sighed. Only my brothers and sisters understood me. Speaking of which... "So watcha doin coming into the Aphrodite cabin all of a sudden?" I said, smiling. Okay that sounded rude, but I said it in a friendly way. :)

I raised a brow and cocked my head to the side. I stuck my hand out. "Gabrielle Lopez, daughter of Aphrodite." Then I looked around. We were still in the Aphrodite cabin. "Well, that was obvious anyway. Call me Elle." I smiled.

"I gave myself a name. I was in an orphanage before. My dad found me and I found out what my real name was. But. I was used to Iggy. So it stuck."

I smiled sympathetically. Poor guy. He probably kept transferring to different foster homes. "Did you have a lot of friends in the orphanage? I've always wondered how it was like in there."
