Funerals(So sad)

I watched Ophelia's body burn, frowning a bit to myself; we definitely could have given her a better funeral... Sighing, I turned away and whistled to the pegasi, striding towards the stables; they followed me, apparently glad to get away from the flames.

ooc: are the italics the ghost?

bic: Oblivious saw the girl walk over to him"may I help you?" Oblivious asked politely, though his shallow voice and soulless black eyes going against that.

Dora smiled lightly at Marpessa and nodded, "definitely."
"Would your dad happen to be Thanatos, or Hades?" Dora asked cautiously. Something about the boy made her uneasy. Now that she was in the funeral pyre, there was an abundance of ghosts, the chattering in her head almost unbearable.

"So that makes you my half-brother." Dora said quietly. She noticed the boy glance at the ghosts and she was suddenly feeling hopeful. "You can see them too?" Dora asked with a hint of urgency in her voice.
Homer and Alexander floated nearby trying to push the ghosts away from the half-bloods, Periander drifted by slowly, obviously bored.

Periander smirked at the boy. "To corrupt her. To bend to my every whim. If I want someone dead, she would kill them, it's all about a balance of power."
Dora sighed, "Periander was the first ghost to appear to me. He came after my brother died, knowing I was weak and easily influenced." Dora explained, "Periander is annoying, but he's not the main problem. Alexander and Homer are rather enjoyable too, but its just the mobs of ghosts that talk. They're so loud, and I just can't seem to get them to leave."

Dora inhaled calmly and closed her eyes. She could do this, she just had to focus. Dora's long dark hair tumbled over her shoulders and floated around her face as a breeze rolled through the Funeral Pyre. Focus.
"You can do this, my dear, we have faith in you." Alexander whispered comfortingly.
"You're stronger than them, command them." Periander ordered.
"Just keep calm, you can accomplish this task." Homer expressed encouragingly.
Dora's breath seemed to become more relaxed, but the air passing her lips grew more frigid. Goosebumps formed on her arms and she shivered slightly. Dora's eyes shot open, she knew what to do now.
Ferocity emerged in Dora's cold blue eyes, her mouth dropped into a frown and a vicious shriek erupted from her throat. "Leave me, now!"
The ghosts began to stir restlessly. "Leave. And don't come back." They began to move more quickly, still not leaving. Dora clenched her jaw, and glared, her gaze meeting a ghost's, his white eyes widened, and he turned and fled quickly. "GO!" She yelled, realizing she could see her breath now, frost had formed on the ground around her. The mass of ghosts began to moan, shrieking, but they turned and left, disappearing into the trees.
Dora shivered once more, but warmth returned to her, and a smile spread across her lips. "I did it!" She laughed happily, for once, she could hear the songs of birds, the whisper of the wind, as opposed to the whispers of the dead.
