by I walked down the stairs and into the basement, still whistling to myself softly as I tried to turn on the lights. There was a flicker, and then nothing -- the light bulb was out. I sighed and looked around for a box of light bulbs -- there should be one in here....

"Sure," I said, moving over to a large box. I opened it and shined my light down into it. Old books. Gross. I moved on. I saw a smaller box and opened it. A lightbulb! I grabbed and turned around to give it to Mason. It slipped out of my hand and shattered as it hit the floor. "Oops," I said

I sighed, glancing around for a broom and dust pan. "Well, can't leave that there -- we could cut ourselves...." We really needed a better source of light. I blinked, looking up at a little window up by the top of the ceiling. "Are there any candles here?"

I snorted, shutting another box -- this one was full of, for some reason, stuffed animals. Probably for the younger campers or something. "Nope, not really. I spent a while just staring into space in the cabin."

"Another light bulb. If you find one, just tell me, so you won't drop it." I sighed, opening another box. It was empty, except for a spider that scurried around the bottom. I shut it and went over to the staircase, to see if there was much light coming from there. No, not really.
