Mak stayed quiet for a moment, not really knowing what to say. Damn, thats gotta suck. Death for a loved one is tough. He walked over to Marina and gently placed his hand on her shoulder. "Ah..well, I'm sorry for your loss Marina. You may even be able to see him again, you never know." He gave her a comforting smile and patted her shoulder before letting his arm drop back to his side. "Just have a little faith."

"Well maybe in the afterlife..y'know..in..whatever Greek Mythology believes in the afterlife. Maybe you'll see him there." Mak said, trying to help. He wasn't really good with these situations.

Mak listened to her and nodded, surprised at her answer. He's never really heard an answer like that from any of his friends. They all have said an NFL Player, a Doctor, an Engineer..but Marina just wants to be herself. "Thats a good answer..better than mine, to be honest." He admitted.

Mak smiled back, then finally put his ball back in place under his arm. "Well, it was nice seeing you again Marina. I gotta head off to my cabin." He yawned. "Its getting a little late, as you can tell." He chuckled.

"Maybe we'll bump into each other around here or something." Mak said with a friendly smile. "I'll see you later, alright?" He waved and gave her one last grin, then ran out towards his cabin.

"Bye," I waved as he left. Ugg why do I even bother with people? Does he know it? I fhe does this is a cruel mean joke. I should just never talk to anyone again if I just go oh hey I like you eventhough we just met. I picked up my stuff and sighed as I walked out.
