Gwen's Bunk (Aeolus)

"What kind of adventure? Do you want to travel, fight monsters, both?" Gwen knew that being with Shrike meant following the wind wherever it would take them.

"We haven't been all together in awhile. I miss everyone, I wonder how Skylar and Dez are? They're the perfect couple, I can't wait for their wedding." Gwen's thoughts were scattered thinking of a million different things at once. Then she remembered that Shrike had made a statement that required an answer or a counter statement of some sort.

"That sounds lovely Shrike." She smiled at him happy to be together again, not that they were together before, come to think of it Gwen couldn't even remember if they were officially an item. In her mind they are but who knows what goes on in the spikey blue haired air headed dude's head anyway?

"How about you start with house warming presents." Gwen chuckled, a baby shower was nowhere close, at least it better not be. "Our group seems to be ever growing if anything, it used to be so small, come to think of it you were an addition to the group I was already apart of. Considering I'm the oldest out of everyone in it and I have known everyone for a long time. I guess that's why Chiron made me a mentor."

There it went again, Gwen's mind somehow managed to focus on multiple things at once in detail. Although now, even with her brain rattling she kept thinking about what her and Shrike are. 'Are we dating? Are we in a trial and error period? Do I love him? I think I do but I'm not sure...or am I? I'm pretty sure there's still a piece if corn kernel stuck in my throat. He's so close to me.' Her thoughts kept jumping around but they always came back to the topic of Shrike.

"Huh? Oh I'm alright Shrike just lost in thought." Gwen snapped out of her mental chaos for a moment. "I've just had a lot on my mind lately. I'm sorry if I space out." She smiled at him still wondering what exactly they were. Maybe going on a trip and exploring would take her mind off things. Maybe she could finally sort herself out.

"So uh you were saying you wanted to travel somewhere?"

"Any place in particular though? I mean we can't just go somewhere without a plan."

"You haven't planned this at all!" Gwen replied kind of irked but not quite. "I need more than speed off into the sunset." She rolled her eyes at him

"Your plans barely ever go off without a hitch." Gwen scoffed thinking of all the crazy plans Shrike has had in the past.

"I guess, sometimes....it really just depends." Gwen sighed of course Shrike was going to be difficult but what else is new.

"What do you mean by that?" Gwen asked with a confused look.

Gwen scoffed "An you think your non existent sex appeal works on me?" she began laughing. "That's the funniest thing you've ever said Shrike."

Gwen was blushing slightly and she poked his chest "It would only work if you actually liked me...we're not really together." She felt a little awkward but Gwen loved being this close to Shrike.

"Well we're not dating and we're together and you said it's weird that we're siblings....." Gwen was getting flustered, she liked Shrike a lot and being this close to himnwas always a struggle for her. She wanted to be with him but only if it would be more than temporary bliss.

"I do because we're not TOGETHER!" Gwen busted, she had meant to say it in her head but it came out of her mouth instead. Now she had done it and there was no taking it back. 'Great now he's going to go on about something crazy and tell me I'm nuts and it's taboo even though incest is hard wired into our DNA....' she thought to herself. Gwen just sat there with an idiotic expression on her face.
