Swordfighting

Cecelia groaned. "I d'wanna rest! Sitting is boring!" She sat down nonetheless, and leaned forward on her hand, ignoring the pain in her belly. "Soooooooooo, what you wanna do now?"

"No idea. Maybe something that doesn't involve sharp objects." She suggested.

Cecelia nodded. "And doesn't involve trying to make the other person throw up." She glared at Anna like she was boring a whole into her skull.

Anna grinned. "Yeah. That too." She said. "How 'bout we go outside of camp and do something?" She asked.

Cecelia gestured to her blood-soaked shirt. "Its /such/ a good idea for me to go out with a stab wound in my stomach. That won't raise questions." She didn't intend to sound mean, but Cecelia was being paranoid about people judging her. Between her burn and a stab wound she was sure to draw attention.

"Hasn't the ambrosia and nectar helped by now? Try some more." She said then pulled out two more ambrosia squares and a juice box of nectar.

I watched Anna pull some more ambrosia and nectar from the bag. She pushed it away and looked up at her wih a look of awe. "Are you. Are you actually. Are you actually freaking kidding me." Cecelia sighed. "How long have you been here Anna?"

Anna counted in her head. "Let's see, 3-4 weeks, give or take a few days?" She guessed. "Why. Do you ask she asked.

Cecelia put her head in her hands. "You can't eat too much. You will LITERALLY burn to death. Not kidding." She gave an exasperated sigh. "It's time you are taught the basics of the "mythology". I said, making air quotes.

"Ouch." Anna said. "That has got to hurt." She said and grimaced, putting the ambrosia and nectar back into her bag.

Cecelia raised her bushy eyebrows and pouted. "No honey, it feels like you're being sprinkled with magical fairy dust. OF COURSE IT HURTS!" Sge let out another exasperated sigh. "Anyway..."

Anna sighed. "Sheesh, no need to yell....." She said but trailed off.

Cecelia rolled her eyes. "I'm a loud person. You haven't figured that out yet?"

"Hmm....yeah, I guess you are." She answered.

Cecelia laughed. "Ding." She sang/said as she smiled. "So what you wanna do now? Just wanna talk?"

Anna shrugged. "Sure," she said. "What do you want to talk about?" She asked.

Cecelia shrugged. "You know, your family life before camp, your hobbies interests, stuff like that." She sat back and winced, then readjusted so her belly wouldn't hurt.

"Family life, eh? I lived with my dad my entire life. He was great, never abusive or mad, yeah he was great. But the monster attacks started, and eventually Lupa's wolves found and tamed me. Taught me to fight and to be the opposite of what I am. I learned to stars down the wolves until they backed away in fright. It scared me." She said with a shiver.

"The end of the story is the same for both of us. I was with my mom. I got lucky though, no monster attacks. I got sent to boarding school in LA. Lupa took it from there."

Anna nodded. "What are some hobbies of yours?" She asked.

Cecelia shrugged. "You know, I showed you my poems earlier. I do a lot of that. I sculpt and play piano. You?" Cecelia played with her hair, even though it was back in a ponytail.

"Snow sports. Throwing magic snowballs in people's faces. The works." She said with a grin.

Cecelia looked at Anna incredulous. "You never got caught using your powers outside of camp?"

"Nope." She said. "The powers were actually a surprise. One moemt I was holding a snowball and the next it was flying through the air. I always thought I had zoned out or something." She said.

Cece laughed. "Yeah, they probably do come pretty sporadically. You can just manipulate it though right? No creating it or anything like that."
