Swordfighting

"I pull water vapor out of the air and freeze it in about half a second. Matter cannot be created, so yeah....." She trailed off.

Cece looked at Anna with a look of suspicion. "When'd ya find out? About your powers I mean." Cece had always be interested in other people's magic, since she had none of her own.

"Once I got down to where there wasn't any snow anymore, when I was traveling with the wolves. The snowballs would appear in my hand. Eventually I learned that I was doing that." She said.

"That's really cool. I wish I had powers, or something cool about me. I can just play the Minuet in G by Beethoven." I smiled and shrugged.

"That's still pretty awesome, if I knew what it was." Anna said with a grin.

"Not a musical person I assume?" Cecelia laughed. "Have you ever seen the Music Man? Its my favorite musical. Ever."

"Nah but I know some people." She said. "No, I'm afraid I hadn't heard of it. What's it about?" Anna asked.

"You haven't lived! Oh my god, its so good!" She went on, explaining the movies plot, a little sappy, a little corny, but really good, nonetheless. "It had the first ever rap song. In 1950 whatever!"

"I haven't lived, eh? That must be a great musical." Anna said with a grin.

"I absolutely love it. Care to walk with me?" Cecelia stood up, winced a bit, and smiled to hide the pain.

"Sure, yeah! But are you okay? You shouldn't walk if you aren't in the condition to." She said as Cece winced but tried to hide it by smiling.

Cecelia grinned honestly this time. "Nah. I'm fine. Just initial shock you know?" She brushed off her jeans and sighed, looking at her blood soaked shirt."I need to change."

Anna nodded. "Okay." She said. "Yes, please do. Blood soaked shirts aren't really in my area of comfort." Anna said with a grin. "Which cohort are you in? You can come to mine if you need to."

Cecelia's eyes flashed with excitement. "I always come prepared. I never know when I'm gonna get in fight." She pulled a simple blue tanktop out of her bag and shook it in Anna's face.

Anna grinned and pushed the shirt away. "The Boy Scout type, eh? Don't brag about it, it's nothing to be proud of." She said with a grin.

Cecelia rolled her eyes and said in her most sarcastic voice, "Gods Anna. I'm a girl. I can't be a boy scout. Gods." She flipped her hair over her shoulder and tried to keep a straight face.

"Well, you know. It was like a simile or whatever. Metaphoor or whatever." Anna said, returning the fake straight face in a rich girl voice.

She couldn't take it. Cecelia burst out laughing. It hurt her abdomen, but she couldn't help it. She put her hand on Anna's shoulder. "Why do I do this all the time?"

Anna laughed and grinned as well. "I don't know." She giggled.

Cecelia kept laughing. "We're weird." She tucked imaginary hair behind her ear. She looked at her blood soaked shirt, which almost made her throw up. She looked at Anna, still laughing. Just be quick. Cece pulled her shirt off, revealing an undershirt underneath. She threw on the tank top and shoved the dirty shirt in her bag.

"I completely agree." Anna said. She looked away as Cecelia changed her shirt and looked back when she had finished.

After she had changed her shirt, Cece laughed. "So, what you wanna do now?" She asked, cocking her head slightly sideways.

Anna thought about it for a while. "Hmmm..........." She said city her cheeks sucked in and her eyes crossed. "Swordfighting won't do........we just had lunch.........I don't know. If it was breakfast time, I'd immediately go there, but it's not.........what do you want to do?" She asked.

Cecelia rolled her eyes, and in an Australian accent said, "I dunno, wot you wanna do?" She laughed at her reference, not knowing if Anna would get it.

"Hmm.......do you what to go into San Francisco? I have to pick up a 'doctor who' artifact that I secretly bought off eBay from the same guy I buy all my Doctor Who artifacts from. Do you want to come? Bring three denarii and you can buy a sonic screwdriver used my Matt Smith himself. Moe works for bbc and receives all the broken sonic screwdrivers that are used by the actors. I have a whole collection of them, if you want to see." Anna said with a shrug.
