Heather smiled at Sebastian and followed the scent of frying funnel cakes. Gods she hadn't eaten one of those since the festival of Fortuna happened a few of months ago. "So, how did you get claimed? Like, what happened?" She asked, looking over her shoulder at him with a wink, then turning back to look ahead so that she could weave through the crowd without running into anyone. The last thing she needed was to get her hands dirty.

Sebastian followed behind Heather, thinking about those cheesy pictures that couples take where the girl is leading the guy on some adventure. How weird is it that Sebastian was actually dating someone? Sebastian saw the lights of a funnel cake booth a little bit ahead of them, and he watched as Heather weaved between the pool of carnival guests.

Heather looked back behind her and raised an eyebrow. "Sebastian. I asked you a question." She slowed down so that now they were side by side. "Are you okay? You aren't having a stroke are you?" She asked with a giggle, biting her lip as they now stood in the funnel cake line.

Sebastian's focus returned. He put his arm around Heather's shoulder, pulling her into his side. "Oh, sorry about that." Sebastian asked, his eyes darker than usual. "Nothing too special. When my mom died, she left me a letter that told me all about camp and all, and then I got claimed when I got there. Glowing skull and cross bones." Sebastian said, shrugging.

"That sounds cool. After I left The House of Lupas, I headed to Camp Jupiter, then when I got assigned to my cohort, then the discordiansim symbol appeared above my head. Is there a Thanatos cabin at Camp Half-Blood?" She asked and leaning into Sebastian and pecking his neck over and over again. Heather moved forward with the line, the smell of funnel cakes getting stronger and stronger. "Gods I can't wait to get my hands on one of those!"

Sebastian shook his head. "We have a cabin for minor underworld gods, though." Sebastian explained, taking another step forward in line. "What are cohorts?" Sebastian asked, very interested in how Camp Jupiter worked.

Heather nodded her head slowly. "What does it look like in there? I bet it's all dark and mysterious." She cooed playfully as she played with the buttons on his flannel shirt. "Cohorts are where the demigods and legacies stay. You're put in one depending on your recommendation letter. I'm in the forth cohort. It's not too bad." She honestly wished that she was in the second or third, but she wasn't going to complain.

Sebastian nodded. 'The cabin is very me." His cabin was honestly one of his favorite places at camp. That's where the people who were most like him were anyway. They finally made it up to the front of the line, and Sebastian pulled out his wallet. "I'll take one with powdered sugar. What do you want, beautiful?" Sebastian asked.

"I'll take one with the same." Heather smiled and looked back at Sebastian. "That's really good. At Camp Jupiter we're all just thrown in together. Is there an Eris cabin or something at Camp Half-Blood?" She asked curiously. "Y'know, just in case I want to go visit you or something." She gave him a playful wink.

Sebastian handed the stand worker the money as he thought about the cabins. "I don't think so, but we'd definitely have somewhere for you." Sebastian said, taking the funnel cakes from the worker. Sebastian made his way over to a picnic table. He set down the plates, and sat down, patting the spot next to him for Heather to sit down with him

Heather sat down next to him, throwing her leg over his lap as she started to tear at the funnel cake with her fingertips. "But I thought that Camp Half-Blood built some new cabins for the minor gods? Like how you stay in the underworld cabin and all." Her eyebrows were knitted in confusion.

She thought about it for a second before shrugging her shoulders. "Whateves. I know we're building different temples for other gods at Camp Jupiter. There's one of Discordia still under development." Heather pointed out as she started to eat the funnel cake. She had no choice, but to moan at the sweet, fried taste. "This is so, so good!"

Sebastian nodded about the food. His funnel cake was almost gone very quickly. "When we finish, what do you want to ride?" Sebastian said, looking around the carnival. The carnival was huge, and had almost anything they could want to ride. Sebastian didn't even know where to start.

Heather was about to say something very inappropriate, but decided to keep it to herself. Classy not trashy, right? "Uh, what about that one thing where it's like a swing and you spin around in the air?" Heather didn't know the name of it, but she knew it was something cute and fun they could experience together.

Sebastian quickly that he had a question that could be taken decently inappropriate, but thankfully Heather didn't take it that way. Sebastian nodded, taking a bite of his funnel cake. "That sounds like fun. Very couply cute." Sebastian said with a wink. He looked down, realizing that that was the last bite of his funnel cake.

Sebastian pulled out his debit card. "You can get whatever you like." Sebastian didn't think much of money, but he knows that a lot of people did. He knows that, in a way, money does matter because he knew a lot of people who had a lack of it. Sebastian liked to use what he had to make the important people in his life happy.

The daughter of Discordia shook his head. "No, no. I don't need to get another one. I'm gonna be slugging on Monday and the last thing I need to do is be left behind on the Roman morning run." Heather explained, moving her sunglasses up on the top of her head. "We can get something else later. Oh, baby! Can we go on the ferris wheel?!"

Sebastian nodded. "I'll go get us wristbands so we can ride whatever we want." Sebastian suggested, standing up to go to over to the nearby ticket booth. Sebastian requests the two wristbands, and handed the worker the money. He slipped one on to his wrist and carried the other one back to the picnic table, handing it to Heather.

"Thanks!" She took the wristband from him and put it on herself. Heather finished off her powder sugared funnel cake and threw the plate in the trash before taking Sebastian by his hand and leading him to the first ride. "So, do you have any friends at camp or are you more so a loner?"

Sebastian laughed as he followed Heather to a ride. "Plenty of enemies, but not really any friends." Sebastian said, scoffing at the idea. He didn't find many people like him at camp, but, then again, he didn't really try to. Sebastian looked at Heather and squeezed her hand. He was happy to have her. That was what he needed right now.

Sebastian smiled. "My gods, you are perfect!" Sebastian said with a small innocent laugh. As they waited in line, Sebastian pulled Heather in close to him, giving her a large hug, kissing the top of her head sweetly. Sebastian took a deep breath, taking in the smell of her hair as he held her to his chest.
