    ilana bacharach.17.hermes
    the least dangerous activity ilana could think of doing was arts and crafts. of course there are always stray variables about paper cuts and paint buckets falling on her head, but that was a tiny detail. at the moment ilana bacharach needed something that didn't result in her falling on her face, though she doesn't mind the falling part. what she minds is people's reactions to the small, and ilana means small bruises. her father especially never lets the fact that she had a big bruise on her forehead one time go every time she goes to visit him. but she was letting the bruise fade.
    ilana sat on a tall chair, leaning over the paint stained table that had her small sketch pad on top of it. color pencils of different shades were sloppily  sprawled out over the surface of the table. ilana was not artistic at all, her drawings typically were swirls and planets that looked very similar from each picture. the pink and purple planets did keep her happily distracted, though. not once as she shaded her drawings did she think of her confiscated mini hot air balloons. the dull blue colored pencil rested in the dimple on her cheek as she paused from sketching. it was her best, okay, but not her best.

    Adri walked into arts and crafts. Adri was an amazing artist and just wanted some down time. She recognized Ilana from the Hermes cabin so she went and sat next to her. She hasn't interacted with her half-siblings very much, so this should be interesting. "Hey" Adri said as she sat down next to ilana. "Whatcha drawing?"
