    I lay in the girl's arms, horribly injured, both from the monster and my abusive father.

    I set him on a cot. "I don't know! I say him laying out on the hill, just barley inside the barrier! A monster was trying to break in the border and get him, but I fought it off. There was an adult lady laying outside the barrier... I think it was his mom! I'm going back to check on her, but I think..." I bit my lip
