I dragged my canoe further in the water reaching them, "Let's go." I say. I think about something, "Why don't we have a race?" I ask them.

Rave stays rowing as leasurely as he wants, not using too much of his strength, he didn;t want to over-exert his muscles.

I watch as Brooke got off to a flying start, I slowly row behind her, I didn't want to waste any of my energy, cause I knew I would need it at the end. I began rowing a bit faster to catch up with Brooke. I reach her easily, "Struggling?" I shout over the splashes of water around us.

Rave paid no heed to the competitive shouts of the two. He rowed, at a steady pace, but taking a slightly different route, which would probably make him arrive before the two. Probably.
He then let out a burst of speed, rowing ever faster and faster, really working his muscles hard. He didn't get coky though, that would be a big mistake.

I started slowing down, probably from not getting enough minerals from my food, due to the fact that I hardly eat. Soon enough, Zane and Rave are far ahead of me. I was tired, but I kept on rowing.

I see Brooke was getting tired, so I slow down a bit, I watch as Rave took another route, but I stick to the main route. I keep rowing until my arms get sore, I rest a bit, letting the water guide me along.

I keep rowing until I catch up to Zane. This is what always happened at the academy. I would lose every activity due to undernourishment. "Need to get to shore." I pant. A sharp pain in my stomach was starting to sprout. Before long, I just stopped rowing altogether, and passed out in my canoe.

Rave suddenly thought something was wrong. He had completely left Brooke and Zane behind. He turned to see Brooke collapse in her boat, and started to panic.
"Brooke!" he shouted, suddenly worried, and started to row back towards wards her.

I immediately stop rowing and swim towards Brook's canoe, I try push it toward the shore as I swim, but I wasn't a great swimmer, so it took a long time to finally get it on shore. As soon as I get it on shore I check if Brooke is still breathing, I look around and see Rave heading towards us so I wait for him to come before I do anything.

Rave got close, and leaped out of his coneo with great skill, and ran over to Brooke, kneeling beside Zane.

I look at him, I wanted to help, but it looked like he got everything under control. I look at Brooke, she seemed to be getting better or was it my imagination. I stand back and hoped she was alright. I really wanted to help, but I was afraid, I was just gonna make things worse, so I just stand away.

I wake up to see that I was on land again. Rave was kneeling next to me, and Zane was there too. "Wha..what happened?" I ask Rave. I felt terrible. My head felt like my brain was being stabbed, and my stomach hurt too. I start to cough, until I can finally catch my breath.
