This is very interesting. Although I think you should add a few obvious flaws to your character..or just give a backstory on how he is able to well, beat the Spartan girl? Maybe his father was a police officer who taught him combat..or maybe he attended classes on fighting?

Er..also I have a question...well more like critique...how is an eight year old able to beat the spartan girl...? Also, a guy who is five foot nine who weilds a four foot sword...you realize...how big that is...and how heavy it would be...

yeah.. the average length of a double-bladed sword is 3ft or less.
