Cabin's Courtyard

"What? You scared?" Sirius asks the girl with a confused look written across his face.

Sirius was getting bored of talking to this little girl, and had other things to do, so he walks away from her and out of the courtyard.

OOC: he sorta left......

OOC: Whatevah.

I noticed I was talking to the dusty athmosphere. I stood up with a sigh and left.

I walk in with my guitar and look at all the people talking.
I sit down near the fire pit and stare into it's depths. I don't blink for a while, without realizing it. It's just that the fire seems so real, like a person. I smile dreamily, and subconsciously begin to strum my guitar and sing.

brighter than anyone,
brighter than the sun."

I bite my lip when I sing the last line, thinking about copyright issues and stuff - hopefully Colbie Caillat doesn't mind, I think. I write the song down on a piece of paper, stuff it into my pocket, then wait for someone to talk to. i feel like I should seriously start trying to make friends, because people might start thinking that I'm a daughter of whoever the god of loneliness is. Apollo kids are supposed to shine bright, I think unhappily. I feel like a dead star.

I place my guitar on the ground next to me, making sure it's well away from the fire pit. I gaze into the fire again, utterly bored to death.

I see a creepy-looking guy sit down close to where I was. He took out a war hammer with a dark-red looking substance on the edge and I resisted the urge to run away. "Hi." I said nervously, sticking my hand out and hoping that he wouldn't use it as a chopping block.

"Ow!" I yell, cradling my hand. I'm about to scream at him, but I don't. "I don't want to save my greetings for someone else." I say with equal coldness, though I doubt that it scares him a bit. "You're the only person here with common sense! You're not gossiping about the latest couple in camp, or laughing about that time when you defeated some monster or another. You're scorning the fact that your mom or dad is treating you like dirt because of the person you are. Like all demigods should!" my voice has been rising throughout the whole thing, but I take a deep breath and continue.

"I said hello to you because you seemed like you were smart. Now it turns out that I was wrong." I say defiantly, glaring at him to see his reaction even though I'm nearly scared to death.

I'd figured out by now who this guy's dad must be. "Just because your dad is Deimos, doesn't mean everyone else is your 'victim'." I said venomously. "You may scare me, you might even take out that bloodstained hammer of yours and kill me. But have you ever even considered having a friend? Other than this other mysterious person of yours. Call me Dumbledore, whatever. But seriously, dude. What is your problem? I say hi to you, I'm probably the only person here that doesn't want to avoid you. And you slap my hand away and act like I'm nothing but dirt. Huh." I said harshly. "You're worse than the gods." Thunder rumbled overhead, and I looked to the sky and yelled.
"I don't care! I don't care what you think!" I looked at the creepy kid again and saw red eyes glowing underneath his hood. In spite of my heart hammering, I managed to grin. "You think that that does anything? Red's my favorite color." I said, still glaring at him.

I walked in the courtyard.

ooc: yeah, she's here...

bic: "Christine." I said with a sigh of relief. "This guy freaks me out." I whispered to her, trying not to look at the glowing red eyes.

"Yeah." I whispered. "Son of Deimos." I gulped, trying to control my fear. "I can't take this anymore...could we move to somewhere else?" I asked a little desperately.

"Are you kidding me?" I said, plucking the strings on my guitar feverishly. "He's the son of the freaking GOD of freaking FEAR!"
