Cabin's Courtyard

"Thanks." I say. "But I should really go..." I trail off, worried.

I sighed happily - the sun had come out from behind a cloud. "Let's just move to a different part of the courtyard, shall we?" I grabbed my guitar and walked some paces away from Kratos, then sat back down, starting to strum some happy chords, singing along to them faintly.

I walk up to a couple of girls - both were really pretty, and one was playing the guitar and singing sweetly. I realize that one of them's Terrwyn. I smile and sit by her. She seems stunned to see me.

I notice a guy, shirtless and islander-looking, walking up to me and Christine. He's got shell necklaces on, with boardshorts and flipflops. With a gasp, I realize it's Makani. "Do you mind?" I said, pretending not to know him. "My guitar needs space." I say as he sits so close that he bumps my guitar.

"Oh, sorry." I said. "I just haven't seen you around before." I said, grinning. "I'm Makani. Son of Aeolus." I said, pointing my finger at a clump of dead leaves and flying them into the fire.

"I know, Makani. I'm Terrwyn. You met me yesterday, remember?" I say, rolling my eyes at him. I have a feeling that he's pretending not to know me either. "This is Christine Dimou, Daughter of Athena." I say, smiling at her.

"Oh, hey there." I say, grinning at her. "So, any free wisdom?" I ask her like a beggar asking for food. Terrwyn rolls her eyes at me but grins, so I know she's interested.

"Definitely. We're going to stay for three days, yeah?" I hop off the bench eagerly. "I've got a tiny beach house ready and stuffs." I shoulder my duffle bag.

"Sounds fun." I say as I smile eagerly. This could be my chance.

ooc: where's lightning? can she rp right now? cause kratos does a good job of freaking terrwyn out. doesn't he ever get lonely? seriously, dude.

bic: I ignored Kratos and continued talking to Makani. "So why are you here, anyway?" I asked.

"Can't you tell?" I asked, laughing. "Dude, prom is like, two days away!" I said, grinning at her.

"What?" I spluttered. "You came here to ask someone?" I asked.

"Well, one person in particular." I turned my gaze over to Christine, opened my mouth, and, with a flourish, held my hand out to - Terrwyn. Haha, I thought, seeing the expression on her face. "Will you?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Well..um...I don't...uh..." I said, biting my lip. "Alright." I said, taking his hand. But then I let go of it and started playing my guitar. He looked at me with absolute amusement on his face. I stood up, offended. "You know what?" I said, pushing him in the chest. He stumbled and fell, which was funny for a son of Aeolus. "No." I said, walking away. "Bye, Christine." I said, forcing a smile at her.

"What do you mean, no?" I asked, pushing myself up and running after her.

"I mean, NO! I'm not going with you!" I yelled, running faster.

"What did I do?" I asked, panting to keep up. "All I did was smile at you, for Zeus's sake! What's with you?" I asked, suddenly annoyed.

"I'm not going to the prom with some idiot that only asks someone because he doesn't want to look like a loner!" She said, stopping and turning around. "You didn't ask me because you wanted to come with me in particular. You asked me because I was one of the only girls you knew!" I said angrily.

I stopped, hands on knees and panting. I grunted angrily, bringing all the dead leaves nearby spinning towards me. I looked up at her, and the leaves stopped and fell in midair. "I asked you because you're nice, and you're pretty. And your voice is amazing." I said quietly. "But if you don't want to go with me, fine. I see how you might have thought I asked you for different reasons. But I'll go now - you won't be bothered by me again, don't worry." I said, then I started walking away.

My face fell, and I ran up to him, stopping him with a hand on his shoulder. "I'll think about it." I said quietly, when he turned around. I fiddled with one of his shell necklaces, trying desperately not to notice the muscles underneath it. I smiled at him, blushing a bit, and walked away.

I ran into the cabin's courtyard, my full set of armor clinking around. I sat on a big, wet bench, though I wasn't sure why it was wet. I surveyed the area, younger kids, playing around, some talking, some were even testing out their powers on the fire pit! I watched and waited, for someone to talk to me.

OOC: That's your cue, someone... Lol

I sighed and climbed a tree seeing as the human I was talking to was boring me.
