Jason pushed his way past his babbling friends and eyed Percy up and down. Definitely the boy he'd seen on the photo in Chiron's office. Jason crossed his arms over his chest as his mind ran a million miles a minute. Jason was bigger than Percy, but the son of Neptune-- er-- Poseidon had a few inches on him. Jason wasn't sure what it was but, Percy radiated power, he was definitely one of the most powerful Half-Bloods he had met in a long time. "I"m Jason Grace." He said his stern calculating face melted to a casual smile. "I heard you save my camp..." Jason said, with a sigh, "Thanks, man." He said and held out his hand.

IC: I looked at the other boy who had introduced himself as Jason Grace, and looked down as he offered a handshake, taking it with a smile, but being cautious about this guy, he wasn't sure what he was capable of.
"It was what was necessary, I'm sure you would do the same even for Camp Half-Blood. Besides, I've heard a lot about you," I say, releasing from the handshake, and nodding at Jason. "It's good to finally meet you."

He just hoped it would stay like that.
"Oh and this is my girlfriend Piper Mclean." Jason said, probably putting too much emphasis on the word "girlfriend". Was Jason afraid Percy would try to steal Piper? That was completely unreasonable, he was just being paranoid, and a bit defensive.
