Very Dense Part of the Woods
I walk into the forest, hearing all of the beautiful sounds being radiated from the insects and animals. It was a nice day, but the sun didn't reach me because of the branches overhead. That was nice, for I liked the cold more than the hot since you can always put on more layers, but it was like a spring day-- warm, but not hot at all.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
I hear someone getting relatively near me, "Hello?!" I say, relatively loudly, wanting to know if I should draw arms or not. I look around cautiously. Since this was a very dense part of the woods, the person/monster could sneak up on me at any point without my knowing. I put my hand on my dagger just in case.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
I heard a voice, but I couldn't really tell what they said, or where the person was. The only things I could tell were that the person was female and... there was a person. Man, I'm so good at exploring alone. I took my dagger out and looked around continuously. "Where are you?!" I ask

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
While looking around, I see the person. She screamed, for... no reason. "It's fine." I tell her, keeping my hand on my knife. I still didn't know if she was hostile or not, these woods are ridiculous. Then again, I could totally take her. Probably. Not.

I keep my knife at hand. I didn't know what to say, though. I just looked at her, and waited for her to say something.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
We've been standing here for a while, just standing here. Why won't she say anything?! I think to myself. We talked more when we couldn't see each other-- maybe it was better that way? I don't know, but I didn't want to take any chances.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
I stood there, was she mute? I couldn't tell, but IF she were a camper, she would likely be friendly, and I didn't want to fight her for no reason because... well, she would probably win. I'm a pretty weak fighter, but I did need practice, and it's harder to fight your friends, so maybe it was better that way? Probably not, but I didn't really want to talk first.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
She finally talked and said her name. Probably... maybe friendly if she wasn't lying, but I had no clue. To put a gesture to end the provocation of violence, I put my knife away and returned the speech to her, "Hello, I'm Ralph." I now noticed that I had no reason to worry about her, if she were to try to fight me I could likely run more quickly than she could or climb a tree.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
And back to silence we go, maybe she was a person who just walked in because she thought it was a cool place. I had no idea. I stayed silent, and so did she, for now at least. I kept note of where my dagger was in case she did want to fight or something like that.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
"I know." I reply, I still wanted to be cautious and ask her about her general information, but I didn't know how to ask, and how to know if she would be telling the truth. A decent way to figure it out would be to challenge her to a duel, where if she would defeat me I would assume she would be a camper if she brought me to the infirmary, and if not she wouldn't be. However, that plan would put a lot of hope into her being a camper, which I didn't know.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
Yeah, I should just fight her and lose, see what she does. If she loses... then she's definitely not a camper since I suck at fighting.

I put my non-dominant hand on my knife, keeping it away, and think about what exactly I should do.

Re: Very Dense Part of the Woods
"So what brings you out here?" I ask her, trying to see if she can at least supply a likely story.
