Party time

Kostas rolled his eyes. God dammit. He grabbed both the guys wrists tightly and jerked them off Lauren's waist. "I don't think that was necessary.." He told the guy darkly. His eyes flickered apologetically at Lauren, then back at the guy.

The man gumbled. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"
Lauren grabbed a water bottle and rinsed out her mouth.

Kostas stared at the guy seriously, but then gave him a friendly grin afterwards. "Nah, its alright mate. You just had a few drinks..didn't know what you were doing. Just don't do it again..." He grabbed Lauren's free hand and led her back to where they were. "So, that didn't go as well as I thought it would.." He muttered, scratching the back of his neck.

Lauren sighed. "I screw up everything."she sat back down at the table.

Kostas shook his head and sat across from her. "It wasn't really your fault. It was that..drunk guy's fault for even taking it that far." He glanced over at the guy who was now probably taking the 10th shot of whiskey tonight. Kostas looked back at Lauren and smiled a bit. "Hey, you tried though. Tip of next time: Talk to someone who is...well sober.." He chuckled.

Lauren hid her face on the table and moaned. "Yeah.,.that would have been good to know before hand."

Kostas held up his hands. "Hey, I didn't know you were going to go up to a drunk guy.." He kinda felt bad that she had to go through that, but it couldn't of been that bad...was it? "On the brightside..I think I spotted a smile from that dude before he..well, y'know..kissed you." He told Lauren reassuringly with a light tone.

Lauren gaged. "He reaked of whiskey," she stuck out her tounge.

"If it makes you feel better...during my braces day I was dared to kiss this girl who so happened to have braces as well. It was after lunch and she just had onion rings and when we kissed, one of my friends thought it would be funny to push the girl while we were kissing and her braces like..mashed into mine and they got tangled." Kostas shuddered at the memory, glad that he didn't have braces anymore. "Onion breath is a huge turn off, I'll tell ya that."

Lauren looked up at him and busted up laughing. She held her gut as she continued to laugh. "Oh gods that's perfect!"

Kostas scratched his head, chuckling a bit at the memory now that he thought of it. The girl really never talked to him again after that. "Yeah yeah yeah, laugh all you want. Try having your mouth stuck on another persons mouth for like..4 hours." He shook his head, then looked back up at Lauren. "Feeling better, now?"

Lauren took deep breaths and nodded. "Yes...you cheered me up."

Kostas grinned. "Mission accomplished then!" He offered her some of his soda. "Want a drink..just to get that whiskey taste out?"

She nodded and drank some of the soda. "Yum." She set it back down. "So kostas...have you had any girlfriends at camp?''

Kostas thought about it for a moment..then shook his head. "Nope..I was never really interested in any girl at camp. I did have a girlfriend when I left for camp though.." he paused, gathering his thoughts. "I don't know if we're still together, but most likely not. She's probably not waiting for me at all, to be honest." He took a sip from his soda. "How about you? Any boyfriends?"

She shook her head. "Just that thing with randel."

"Sorry things didn't work out with you and that Randel kid." Kostas told her sympathetically, leaning back in his chair. "Sometimes love just sucks." He took another gulp of his soda.

"No...it's fine, I have moved on." She smiled up at him.

Kostas held up his soda in the air. "Cheers to moving on then." He said triumphantly with a light laugh. "Its a good feeling to move on y'know...don't have to feel the uh..the ghost of the past, you could say."

Lauren smiled and looked away. Was she started to have feelings for kostas? She felt her stomach flutter and she smiled.

Kostas took a long gulp of his soda until it was finally gone, then slammed his drink onto the table proudly. His former energy was now making him feel exhausted, and he sat back lazily in his chair. He saw Lauren smile and laughed. "What are you smiling at, huh?"

Lauren quickly jumped up. "Oh uhm nothing!" She smiled and scratched her neck.

"Nope, nope you were smiling at something." Kostas interjected, now leaning forward on the table with his elbows on it. "What was it, huh? I won't tell anyone." He told her in a low tone, his chin resting on his knuckles as he smiled at Lauren.

"It wasn't anything!" She covered her now bright red face.

Kostas laughed, leaning back into his chair to give her some space. "I'm just playing with you. No reason to hide your smile, Lauren. You have a nice smile."
